"Girls Weekend February 2026"

We stayed here for a long girls weekend in February. It shouldn’t have “resort” in its name. Pictures online definitely made it seem like a nice resort & that our room was right on the canal but it wasn’t. The room was completely renovated which was nicely done. However the elevator broke on day 2 and we had to take the stairs. One in our group had a hurt ankle which made it difficult being on the 4th floor. In talking with another couple, they told us this happens frequently as they stay at this resort every year. The provided breakfast was lacking to say the least and didn’t have many choices. It’s only available from 8-10. We went at 9:30 and they were already out of several items and didn’t replace them. The only toaster they have was broken which is an inexpensive item they could replace. I did feel safe there but I wouldn’t stay here again as there are other places in Marathon that are nicer after more research. It cost $460 a night with taxes etc.

We loved our stay here, marathon is perfectly located to be able to see some much of the keys. The resort was clean, rooms were big, tiki bar was great! Jason was slinging drinks and keeping everyone happy! Would highly recommend.

Bikes need updating. Pool towels are a 25$ hold EACH. They aren’t even good towels. And they say they aren’t for the beach. I have shellfish allergy and go cross contaminated sick at the free breakfast, maybe be careful if you do with breakfast. Otherwise great stay.
