Skipjack Resort & Marina

Self service breakfast was great, dinner in the evening good value. Pool bar had a nice vibe with friendly bar staff. The accommodation was really nice. About an hours drive to Key West. Free bikes available, 20 mins cycle to the beach

We stayed for three days in early December and it was a very pleasant stay. The room was very clean and well-maintained. There was a nice pool area and very nice complementary breakfast buffet. We had a two-room efficiency with a small fridge, microwave, coffee maker and it was quiet and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again. lots of great restaurants and things to do near-by.

Stayed At Skipjack and couldn't have asked for more. Everything was exactly what I needed in the room. Nice living area, nice visiting area, nice work area. Again it checked all the boxes. This is my second time here in the last four years and I wish I would have come back sooner. Javier, Jason, Jeff at the outside bar were great, which is fantastic, cause its poolside. The room service was perfect, nice folks. The residents I met who live on-site, were gracious, fun and really made my visit fun.

Hot shower. Comfortable bed. Nice desk for my computer. If you have a boat there is dock space. Close to restaurants and Publix. A couple of marinas within ten minutes.

Road construction, but that's not the resort's fault.

Location is good.

In no particular order. First the room safe wasn’t working the batteries were removed and some were corroded in the safe. I asked to get it repaired and she said I could put the batteries in myself which I was fine with and it did work. But then suck it the air conditioning unit in the master bedroom was leaking water all over the floor. She said to throw towels down on it to soak it up, but I didn’t want it to be slippery since it was so close to my side of the bed. So we finally had to change rooms that evening. Had to load everything up and move it to another room. Third the other room, the air conditioning unit in the same master bedroom was rattling. I had to stick a washcloth towel in it to keep it from vibrating because it kept us up. We basically kept like that the whole time. Weren’t happy. On final day both are plastic key codes wouldn’t work on the door after it locked us out when we went for breakfast. The maintenance man said he’d be up to fix it which he did come up. I told my wife it happens all the time while I’m not sure how it could happen with two different codes locking us out but we had no phones no medical pills so that was a very big inconvenience too.

The staff were all friendly and helpful. Everything you need is at the resort. The pool is beautiful! Short drive to beach, activities, food and stores! Great price for the stay!

We had to villa. Very nice room with full kitchen and living area. Enjoy it. Have been here 3 years in a row and love it.

Walking distance to most anything you want to do.
