Sleep Inn & Suites Metairie - New Orleans West

All of the table lamps in the room had rust on them. The door casing was loose. The carpet was damp and musty smelling. The entire facility looked "run down"

Property was run-down, smelled of weed, wasn’t well maintained at all. Rust in bathtub, sink didn’t drain, no fire detector in room, staff not friendly when key didn’t work. I would NOT stay here again. Location was convenient but that’s about the only positive I can state. I never write reviews so that should tell you something! Don’t stay here!

The hotel smelled like weed in the halls and like mildew in the room. The nreakfast was the worst I've had. Old, stale bagles, rock hard biscutes, and butter you couldn't melt with a blow torch. The staff was wonderful. The building... i wasn't impressed at all.

Bed sheet was dirty, towel was dirty and smaller size . Did not electricity at night - they need keep generator.

The property was very convenient to shopping stores and to eating establishments. Check in was easy and the staff were nice. Breakfast was very good and great variety! The rooms are a little dated but the bed was comfortable. Second day the tv wouldn’t work, needing to be reset but didn’t want to mess with it. Our floor did have the smell of someone smoking quite a bit but we were only there during evening hours so not sure if that was the norm for daytime. Parking is a little tight but I believe there is more parking across the street.

Waited over 15 minutes to check I. Because there was nobody at the reception area and large bags of garbage lying in the lobby. Staff shouting and laughing at each other but continued to ignore me. Eventually a lady came out and huffed and puffed and told me that she had been in the bathroom and I needed to wait and have grace. Zero customer care. Bathroom with a dirty bath and the wall rusting with leaking water. Bad smell of marijuana in the hallway. Very noisy , I was disappointed.

The stay was great! They were nice, accommodating, and the breakfast was good. The only issue is the hotel is VERY dated.They seem to be working on this actively. They do have roaches tho.

They do not have enough towels to provide to the guess and the ones they did give was dirty/ stain and had holes in them. The front desk staff was nice that’s why I gave 2 stars. They need to purchase new towels or a new machine to wash their towels and the house keeping staff need to stop counting towels because no one wants stained up towels! They need to pull up the dirty carpet or shampoo it.They have to wash them to give you more towels, the vents don’t work in the bathroom and the locks on the door need to be repair, which is unsafe. Don’t stay here, I will never stay here again!!
