GBWhat a delightful hotel. We loved everything about it. We had a junior suite and it was huge. The food was fantastic. We liked the small menu choice. Always a meat dish, fish dish and vegetarian option. Something to suit all tastes. If you are going out for the day or to the beach request a packed lunch the day before. Delicious freshly made sandwiches, pastries, fresh fruit and beers. All packed in ice in a cool bag. Drinks were excellent thanks to Terry and Tre. All staff were very courteous and helpful. Met some great people many of whom are repeat guests. Great location right next to Pebbles Beach and the racehorses and 5 minute walk to Carlisle Bay. We will be back.

The food was good. A couple of times a week they have buffet style dining. Otherwise it's a la carte. They're strict on dining dress code. Some staff were more friendly than others. Location is only a three minute walk to the beach.
We found the staff to be lovely. The food served for meals was varied, well presented and good quality. The hotel is a 2 minutes walk from the lovely beach.
CAIsland Inn used to be the Rum storage building for the Garrison. Our first week of vacation was at a condominium complex and after our travelling companions left for home, my wife and I stayed three nights at Island Inn and loved the vibe the old stone inn offers. The only thing we didn't enjoy was the smokers in the courtyard where you could sit and enjoy a drink and watch some entertainment. The barmen are very generous with their pours at times and they offer Banks on Tap or in bottles which was nice. The "all inclusive" was good for us this short time as we have always thought it to be a waste while visiting Barbados as there are so many great restaurants to enjoy. The lunch and dinner meals are menu based and we found them all to be very tasty with a hint of Bajan flare. Breakfast is buffet style, but you can do made to order as well. We had a garden view room which was well appointed with a King bed. Very comfortable, yet a little small. It's in a great location steps to Pebbles Beach. Cuzz (local fish cutters) is sooooo close. We enjoyed getting up early and watching the Green Monkeys cross back and forth over the road and up on roof tops. I guarantee you will have a sighting during your stay. It was also fun watching the race horses go by on their way for a sea swim. Thanks go to all the Island Inn staff for a very hospitable stay. We will defiantly return and recommend!
Fantastic. The staff make this hotel. Everyone is so happy and helpful. It’s well positioned with Bridgetown 20 mins walk one way, Hastings 20 minutes the other and the beach about 100 yards away.
Very unique property with lots to offer. Would never have considered an all-inclusive in Barbados, but this was good! Food had local flair and lots of flavour. Staff were good and we felt comfortable, all except the fact that people could smoke in the courtyard. Would stay again.
