Boarders Inn & Suites by Cobblestone Hotels - Faribault

Well - there was food left in the refrigerator and the floor was so sticky I wet a towel and tried to clean it myself. And a little noisy with running in the hallway and a few pounding sounds from the wall. Breakfast was so- so.

The bathroom was gross

Decor was very old, i didnt want to sit on couches. Beds were very hard.

Modest breakfast options and a comfy bed.

Only one staff working, had a lobby full of guests waiting told to dial 0 on the phone for help but no one answered waited 30 minutesfor someone to finally answer. No elevator, got to our room, room was disgusting. Called down to front desk and they put us in another room that was clean,thank goodness but the sherys were thread bare, there were chuncks out of the picture frames on the walls and mold behind the handles in the shower. Very run down, needs upgrades and better maid service!

Food ran low regularly in the mornings. Water/juice machine did not work the whole week I was there. The hot water dispenser never had hot water… the room was clean but the fridge did not work. The bathroom needed deep cleaning with rings in tub and grout with mold. Water pressure in shower was STRoNG! Bed was comfy enough. Walls thin! Not sure how this hotel is rated so highly, but not sure the other options in the area are much different.

Room was clean, service was good, employees very nice

There was no staff available to check in guests and they did not respond to the buzzer or dialing 0 as the sign started. I had to yell loudly in order for staff to come out of their room to check us in. When we got to the room, no fan or AC had been left on. There was very high humidity to the point the floor felt damp and the room had a funky odor. The bed was not comfortable and we did not sleep well. Breakfast was okay the next morning. My brother stayed in another room and told us his room had not been cleaned when he checked in, with unmade beds, dirty towels, and trash all over. When he reported it to the front desk, their response was "are you sure?" Overall, very disappointing experience.

Hard working staff. Anxious to please.

Was not what I expected. I saw that it had good ratings so I assumed it would be okay. The room smelled mildewy, the TV didn't work. The pillows were huge so we called the front desk to see if they had any flatter. Nope. Breakfast was so-so.
