Taj Fort Aguada Resort & Spa, Goa

We arrived at night after a very long day. When we opened the curtains in the morning and saw the view we were amazed WOW! All the staff are lovely and helpful. Ramsewak at the pool goes above and beyond his duties. The fish restaurant is incredible but all of the food we ate was good. Some reviews seem to think the hotel is a little dated but for us this added to the charm.

Hotel is very tired. The pool area is really not of international quality 5 star hotel, with grass and weeds growing around the uneven and broken paving. Food disappointing.

Taj Fort Aguada Resort & Spa in Goa was outstanding! From the smooth check-in process (early), to being recognized and addressed by name by a variety of staff members, the entire stay was wonderful! Last year I was at a different property and wanted something a little closer to the airport, but didn't want to give up the quality! Fort Aguada delivered!!

Having stayed at fort aguda 20 times this is the first time I was able to see a dirty , filthy taj property 1) new Luxury room has so many dirty spots, I stayed in same room in September when it was launched but within 6 months things have taken a complete downside with scratches on tables and so many spots in sofas and upholstery, 2) my fav place in hotel was outside SFX The seating there is horrendous now. Not a single chair outside SFX is clean. Infant it’s filthy. The floor is terrible as well with litter all around. How long does it take to clean? 3) first time I felt that the staff needs a proper training of stopping to do firang chamchagiri. It’s quite evident that most of the staff in SFX is inclined towards the firang chamchagiri. Not sure if it’s something to do with tips they get from foreign guests or they have newly joined Taj or the managements focus is on international guests. Jamshedji Tata’s ideology of opening a 5 star for Indians is definitely going down the drain. 4) The lamp outside the luxury room , well if I was the GM and I see the kind of dirt and spider webs that has , I will simply resign if I cannot get my housekeeping to clean a simple Lamp. 5) the outdoor furniture in room patio is also unclean and no one would want to sit there despite paying 25000 per night. Overall this property has lost my trust and I am definitely not coming back here. Strong management changes are required here. My luck that this time I stayed there for only 1 night

Felt like home. Room was clean. It was great seeing Gajanand and Namdev after 20 years. They are the true asset for Taj fort Aguada. Dedication to work still same like 20 years back. Thank you for all your hard working guys.

I just had a one night stay at the Taj Aguada property Goa... The property is very beautiful but there few put offs. It was very sweet of them to upgrade us to a beautiful cottage... But the rooms...outdoors are not at all clean We all were so looking forward to the breakfast...it was below average.... A Taj property is always considered to be exceptional...n it usually... The breads counter was a disaster... I hope the person who takes care of this...gets to see this message So that next time it gets better Thank you
