Holland America Denali Lodge

Extremely well located right next to park entrance. But hotel is very poorly planned, you have to wait for a shuttle or walk far away from only 2 small parking lots. There is no housekeeping and food is very overpriced.

Great location. Not enough car parking spaces. Terrible front desk service. It was end of season so help was ready to leave. Only Sophie and Jonathan--2 servers in Karstens restaurant were superb!

The self serve washers were run by an app that did not work. Staff was able to start them with their over-ride. Glad to have them available

Check in is 3. At 3:30 I checked in and was told the room may or may not be clean, but if it wasn’t I could leave my stuff in the room and comeback later. Why would they give me a room if they didn’t know it was clean and why would I leave my stuff there? The clerk was quite distracted by two coworkers who weren’t busy. Service was poor for lunch. I was finally given a menu and told what they didn’t have, but no one ever came back for my order. I left and ate elsewhere. Parking was inadequate. People were double and triple parked in the overflow lot. It was late in the season so who knows what it’s like in summer. BTW this property is owned by Holland American cruise line.

Paid for a suite and got a crooked floor, broken lock on the paito so we couldn't be secure, smelled of intense cleaner, and if you want to watch anything on the television at night forget about it. Highly don't recommend and do not trust.

Location. Staff were nice. Shuttles a plus.

All the people working there are very helpful. Unfortunately, the room’s condition is very poor. Carpet and sofa feel and look dirty. Bathroom floor tile is broken. No WiFi signal in room. We were there in September; maybe the condition was better at the beginning of travel season.

The room was spacious. Good options for food. The views are spectacular!

The rooms are a little run down compared to the overall property.

Check your linens before it’s bedtime. Ours were slept in and obvious that someone had eaten in bed. So gross!
