PROS 1. Great walkable location - 1 block from Sunnyside Cafe & Restaurant and and 2 blocks from Waterman' Surfside Grille 2. 1 block from relatively quiet secluded beachfront (6th St) 3. Two amazing pools and two hot tubs including waterfall in pool and amazing landscaping vibe 4. Nice furnished kitchen CONS 1. Beds were uncomfortable 2. All balconies were under renovation as of May 2024 and only rooms without balcony were available 3. Not on beach front 4. Rooms directly connected to another room with adjacent locked door resulting in lack of privacy 5. Access through the garage instead of street level was awkward TIPS Recommend not booking studio or full beds Overall 3 out of 5 stars

The studio room bathroom wall was gross. The paint around the tub was cracking and dirty. The shower rod was rusty. I felt like I was in a motel 6. I’ve stayed here before and this property has really gone down.

Staff was super supportive and responsive. Room was nice, clean and enjoyable. not my first stay and I definitely plan to return.

The clubhouse rooms come with a lot room for family and friends to share. Great kitchen area. Makes it’s easier to cook and save.

Always love my stay here. It was a little noisy with the people setting off their alarms at 6am in the parking garage to find their car. Probably heard it 4-5 times between 6am-9am but it’s nothing the hotel can help. The staff is always super friendly and it’s nice that their rooms have a living room and a kitchen and everything you need to stay comfortably while you are there. Probably the only place I would ever want to stay at if I got a room at the ocean front and I’m a local if that says anything. Just need the tourists to learn how to be quiet. No one wants to hear yall all day and all night.

This place was able to accommodate us last minute. My two girls loved the pools and hot tubs, huge plus. Our room was very clean and quiet. They are in the process of rebuilding balconies so we couldn’t use them, but I would still stay here again. Very short walk to restaurants and beach. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Rooms are old and dirty, broken furniture, cracked tiles on the floor, bath tub cracked and peeling, mouse droppings in corners, cobwebs everywhere and curtains are disgustingly filthy. Beds are bowed and uncomfortable and they had exterior construction going on the construction is understandable but for the price of this hotel it is dumpy! It used to be a beautiful place to stay and had a reputation of being one of the best at the Virginia Beach oceanfront, now at best it’s run down, neglected and old. Not worth the price. Only good part is the pool are!

Disappointed beyond repair!! I normally give great reviews; however, I booked this property through a third party, hotels.com. I have suggested to them that it should be mandatory to have updated pictures/information regarding locations. Once it is book 9 time out of 10 it the stay will be nonrefundable, regardless of the condition of the property etc. This particular location in Va Beach sent a text blast a few days prior to our reservation letting us know that ALL balconies are close due to construction. By the time we received the notification it was too late to try to pursue a refund! This location should invest in carpets, new furniture, and paint! The furniture in the rooms had cigarette burn in the cushion. The pull-out couches for the kids to sleep on the mattress was soiled and moldy. The rooms have an odor. This entire location is in a badly need a facelift! The pool area/front desk were the cleanest part of the property! It is in a good location; you literally walk across the street to the beach! Planet Pizza is about a five minute' walk from the location. I would recommend it the food was amazing! The kids really enjoyed the pizza and wings. If I could give a no star I would for the rooms! The service was great the young lady that checked us in on May 4 was very professional. However, that does not make up for the price charged for this stay! I was highly disappointed I do not recommend this location.
