TownePlace Suites Knoxville Cedar Bluff

Hotel was nice, we use marriott a lot so our expectations for their standards are usually kind of high. Clean, staff was very friendly. Breakfast was ok and the pool was empty/out of service with no notice beforehand. If i would have had my younger daughter this would have been a huge problem. Overall good place to stay.

Very clean and comfortable. Very basic services. Desk clerk was very stressed and had trouble checking us in because of the payment through hotels.com but she finally figured it out!

Location, large rooms, fridge and microwave

Wasn't clean enough for us. Room had a bad smell. Beds were not comfortable.

Breakfast was good. The pool was down for a broken part, was accommodated with the other 2 hotel pools close by to use while we stayed. Fully stocked kitchen area in the rooms. We stayed in the 2 queen bedrooms and had another 2 rooms booked as well. Housekeeping stopped by on our second night to ask if we needed anything. Our two queen beds were in separate rooms with two different doors.

We chose early check in and had to wait 2 hours for our 3 rooms to be available. We arrived at 1pm and was never informed it would not be accommodated via email like previous different hotel stays. We stay at a few hotels a year. We had 9 people with us 4 of which were kids. Was not able to use accommodations until checkin. The pool was broken and being maintenanced when we arrived. Main door into the hotel was extremely heavy leaving. One of our 3 rooms didnt have hot shower water was luke warm the whole 4 days! Hot and cold were reversed. We didn't have pillows or blankets for the 2 rooms with the pull out couches. Water pressure was low in the bathroom in one room and our fridge was NOT cold even on the coldest setting in all 3 rooms. Elevator constantly had trash in it, we cleaned it up food, paper, beer bottles. Floors felt very unlevel as if the hotel was uneven. Housekeeping definitely don't clean behind the beds!!! While on the elevator you can hear other floors conversation. Rooms are not sound proof you can hear tvs and conversations while walking by. While breakfast was good it constantly ran low on supplies and had to wait to be restocked. AC could be updated, the TVs were small channels were very limited you could log in to your own Netflix account if you wanted. Had to make an account with the hotel just to use the wifi.

We have stayed here for about a month traveling with work. The people that made our trip was Angela Farfard and Sarah Long. They are the best staff in the hotel. Their hospitality and kindness was suburb and other's should follow suite. Without them our experience would have been mediocre at best. I am truly grateful for meeting them both. They both went above and far beyond any hotel I have ever stayed in. In my opinion they should be promoted and at that front desk or even in management. I have been in management myself for 20+ years and they are top notch in customer satisfaction and I cannot say the same for most of the other staff. I can say they made our stay as good as what you hear of at Disney. Thank you for treating us with kindness, it was a experience I will never forget!!

Convenient location, nice building, good service at the front desk, nice pool. I can't complain about anything. Well done guys!

It was very bad, initially they gave a room and floor above had construction going on and they didn’t give me any heads up. I called them to change rooms they said the hotel was fully booked and few hours later gave me another room which was next to the parking with loud sounds of the traffic could’nt rest all night, don’t ever book this hotel

We stayed at this brand before TownePlace Suites and it was very good. I tried to book a King online but only queens came up so I took it. My profile specifies high room. When I checked in I was told no high rooms were available. It was only 4:30. We were given a room on the 1st floor. When we opened the door there were drinks still all over the counter and the bed unmade. We immediately went back to the front desk and asked for a clean room. We were now given a room on the 4th floor. I guess while we were gone for 10 minutes the room opened up. Opening the door the room smelled. Fortunately we always carry wax melts with us and immediately lit one. There is only one TV in the suite to be able to turn it side to side for viewing either from the couch or bed. However it is partially behind the wall and the full screen cannot be viewed from the bed. The next morning while trying to eat their breakfast there were no forks. That’s right no forks. And no plan to get more. And right across the parking lot were two other Marriott properties. One of my worst experiences with Marriott.
