The first impression of the hotel was bad. The area surrounding the hotel was not clean but there was a bad odour. The receptionist was friendly but when we asked for water there was a water dispenser next to the counter without cups. We were told to use our own cups or bottles. The room was very basic. There were only two old looking bath towels and a floor rug. No hand towels were available. There was no shampoo and the shower gel was dilute with no lather. The bedsheets and blankets looked old and crumpled.The air conditioner was not functioning properly and the technician took nearly an hour to fix it. Breakfast was outsourced to 3 coffee shops. There was very limited choice of food and quality was bad! We paid RM248 per room but it was a poor deal
