Grace Hotel Semporna

The size of the room is just nice.. not too big nor too small.. it has all the things you need in a hotel room

The space for breakfast could get bit crowded during peak hour

Arrived 2 hours early and no attempt was made to facilitate an earlier move into the room.

Location, we wanted to be close to piers.

Breakfast in the cafe nearby which was small and crowded; little or no choice for breakfast (see photo attached). Old hotel but Semporna does not offer too much choice-this one was still ok :)

This hotel is 5 minutes walk to jetty. To come this hotel, you can take a Grab car from airport or Tawau town. If from Tawau town, the Grab fare is approximately RM110. If go to airport from Semporna, the Grab fare is approximately RM90. It is easy to get a Grab car in Tawau or Semporna town. You can easily grab around Semporna town to look for food like McDonald’s, ikan Bakar Semporna next to McDonald’s which is nice and reasonable price. It is just 10-15mins walk from the hotel to McDonald’s if you are ok to walk. Seafood restaurant nearby the hotel is not nice and expensive.

The hotel room is small. Wi-Fi is not reliable. No mini refrigerator in the room. Aircond needs maintenance because need to put 16 degree Celsius only cool else is warm. Only have bath towel. No face towel given. Outside the hotel has many immigrants waiting for you to give them money. So be careful when you are at Semporna.

Nothing really. Breakfast next door, fine, friendly staff.
