Sonder at McKinley

I found this Sonder to be a good location for downtowm Phoenix. Very good size for us and pretty well equipped. Misse d5 stars

Convenient location

The property was very clean. Extra towels can be sent by request. The location was near local restaurants and stores. Parking was convenient as well.

The area isn’t the best a lot of homeless people wandering day and night, however no one bothered us. I walked alone day and night with zero issue. For a non smoking complex there was a lot of marijuana smoking taking place in the complex. Beds were good building was quiet. Received the codes and everything thru email or the app. Building was clean. There was sonder staff at the building everyday if you needed to ask questions, as well as email or communication via the app. Pool area had a smell of natural gas near the fire table, someone should probably have a look at. Way better than staying in a hotel. Great stay would recommend and would definitely stay again

I’m in my early 50’s. Missed having a front desk and human interaction. Modern clean safe place. A little noisy plumbing and steeet noise. Did not like entering a code to enter building, elevator etc. A lot of hassle vs traditional cards at hotel. Friendly staff on App and chat was good.

Very spacious and comfortable accomodations. Clean except for the light colored carpeting in the bedroom that needs some stains to be removed.

The apartment had everything and had great appliances and was close to public transport.

Perfect area and lots to do in the area

Incredibly loud, dont expect to get any sleep. Between loud music, traffic, metro line & construction I don't think there was one peaceful hour. This is clearly a known issue as ear plugs are left on the bedside tables, however rendered pretty useless. It’s a shame as the place is nice, albeit could do with more of a thorough clean. Pressure minimal in shower, thus making it hard work to wash hair.
