The Sandman Santa Rosa Sonoma, an Ascend Collection Hotel

Great looking property, feels like it’s been renovated recently or just maintained really well. The gentleman that checked us in was super helpful. Huge bed.

The room had a very strong cigarette smell TV didn’t work.

The location, price, hot tub, and that the price includes breakfast.

No dining height table with 2 chairs in the room. A comfortable arm chair is always nice, as is sufficient drawer space for clothing. The included breakfast menu doesn’t change often enough for those staying more than 1 night

I like how clean the room was and how comfortable the bed was.

The room was good sized and well kept. The included breakfast included scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, toast, yogurt, and cereal. The room had a refrigerator, microwave, and toaster oven. The only issue was that the freezer did not refresh mu I’ve pack for my insulin.

I was impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel. The cost was very reasonable. The beds were comfortable. The room was clean and the location was fantastic. If I have to stay in Santa Rosa again, I will definitely go back to the Sandman. Great value for the money.

The only negativity I might say is that coming out of the hotel you had to turn right and go down and make a U-turn to go back the other way. So if that’s the only negative thing, you know things were very nice.
