Stayed in this hotel as an over night stop before moving on the next morning. Lovely spacious and comfortable hotel. Very clean with big comfortable beds and a hot shower which we needed after a long flight. Arranged a supper for the room as we arrived late which was just perfect and very fresh. Would definitely recommend this hotel

Cool hotel. Expedia lists the premium room as having two queen beds. They are doubles. The restaurant is great and staff is friendly.

My husband I were there for business in the San Jose area and decided it made sense to stay in the downtown area. We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel, simple rooms but that was made up for with the comfortable and well designed common area and lobby. The staff was very friendly and helpful. A shout out to the front desk staff and especially (Fabricio) who was able to help me locate and get medical treatment for a family member we were meeting who needed attention immediately. Also to the other young men and women at the front desk who were able to help me get to some of my destinations in the safest and most efficient way. A great breakfast and phenomenal rooftop restaurant and outdoor dining. We could see the city from the top of the rooftop table and the restaurant staff were especially kind and helpful. Although many people told us to not go to San Jose, I would definitely recommend this hotel and it's centralized location. I would definitely return in the future. Wonderful hotel!

Once you understand that all of Costa Rica is like this, then you get that it is normal. There were pairs of cops on many corners so I felt pretty safe. Even in the evening, it was just a bit slower and cooler than the day. Just always lots of people. The Jade Museum was terrific. The National Theater was closed for tours. :( Great food everywhere. It was great. The room was nice and it was clean. The AC was perfect.
