Though this was not the worst experience I've had at a hotel, it ranks pretty high. First, there was NO notice informing guests that the hotel was under this level of construction. The staff was very nice and welcoming, but the construction noise continued after 5 pm. No signs directed you to your room once you entered the floor from the elevator without a ceiling, but it was easily managed. One time while exiting the elevator, other guests and I were met with a long wire blocking our exit as workers were fishing the electrical wiring. The air conditioning apparently had a trick for making it work that you had to get after contacting the front desk, and at its best, it was shoddy: no alarm clock, one roll of toilet paper, and no ice machine in the building. When asked, we were informed that it wasn't hooked up yet, so one had to cross a busy and congested street to get ice from the gas station. The pictures will show the safety conditions in the parking lot with no signage. There was also a large piece of metal pulled by the sidewalk that was left with no sign of danger or caution. The metal piece was at least 2 feet in height. Very dangerous! The construction workers took up the disability parking spaces at times. And round toilet seats were placed on oblong toilets. Overall, I felt that we paid for amenities that were not available, and as guests, we should have been able to make other choices had there been prior notice, and if not possible, safer conditions.

Staff was nice. Room was updated and clean.

It’s under construction so the entire outside is covered in dirt, debris, and tree branches. There are no amenities available. The construction starts everyday at 8am, sometimes earlier, with men using heavy machinery. It’s SO LOUD there’s no possible way to sleep in when it’s happening right outside of your window. Plus there’s zero privacy even on the higher floors where construction workers are using cherry picker style equipment to do their job and they’re face level with your window.

The room flooded! We did not know where the flood was coming from. The microwave did not work at all. Seems to be a problem where the dishwasher and sink flooded all at the same time. My daughter and I left for the GNX concert and came back to a completely soaked floor with the cabinets at the bottom of the stove flooded as well.

Hotel was under construction and I was not aware nor compensated for the inconvenience. Pretty disappointed. Parking lot was a disaster. No ice machines. Kitchenette in my room with no plates or anything so it was useless. No coffee maker. Trash was full when I arrived. My room was never cleaned during my stay - 2 nights. Last time I stayed here it was great. Not so much this time. Won’t be booking again.

The closeness to downtown

The front desk manager had a bad and negative attitude towards me and told me I didn’t have reservations and I did ..Told me there weren’t any rooms left and proceeded to give another couple a room after telling them they didn’t have reservations as well ..Had to call booking.com customer service to get me a room

Hotel is being renovated and is under construction but the rooms are clean and extremely nice only downside they need to offer more amenities and let people know that there is $150 security deposit

Property is under renovations. So the description is misleading. Was charged a $150 incidental fee at check-in for just one night, which was almost as much as the room. In my option with the hotel being under renovation is very steep. I was charged that in Vegas for 5 nights. I better get that back! I reported Our AC units began to leak during a storm after the power flickered. One of the handles to the bathroom was broken and we couldn’t get it back open. Thank goodness there were 2 doors. The staff is beyond wonderful though. Should be nice once it’s done. It’s very convenient to downtown.

Hotel does have quitr a bit of construction happening still so parking is a challenge and the front desk is in a small room but the staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and spacious. Soneta ( pretty sure i spelled that wrong) was incredibly kind and helpful. I booked through a third party and their was a problem with the reservation. She made sure my group was taken care of and although not what i booked she ensured my family had every accomadation we needed. I hope to return on another family trip possibly after the renovations and would absolutly stay here again.
