Old and dated and way over priced. I would hardly call it a 5 star resort. Maybe it was back in the day, but it desperately needs a revamp. I would never stay here again. We checked in with the all inclusive package, and they didn’t even know and were going to charge us an extra $800 per night. I had to show them my booking email. There was no option for us to book in for Christmas dinner and show, so we missed out. Had to eat in another restaurant and the food was awful. The resort is small, very little activities and not much to do. Stay anywhere else at Nusa Dua but here.

We returned to the lovely Sol Benoa for our 5th stay for 14 nights between 24/11/25 and 08/12/25. We always stay on the All Inclusive package as it is such good vlaue! Yet again our stay was wonderful and relaxing , plus great value for money ( use your Melia points!). From the first minute of arrival to our sad last minute of departure we felt so cared for at our "Second home" At the heart of Sol Benoa are the lovely, caring and ever smiling staff team who hold a special place in our hearts. Just to mention a few of the team I can remember...Warm thanks to : Ibu Ratna Dewi,Natalia, Bella, Mendren, Tarzan, Aryani,Augustini,Risma, Annie and Bon Bon! So many more but I cannot remember your names! Sol Benoa has a very special and warm feeling, not a big corporate hotel but just so easy and comfortable. Our room was lovely and spacious, clean and well kept, room service are excellent, the regularly stocked fridge with drinks, beers,snacks and chocolates is very welcome. The food is wonderful, abundant and quality, the breakfasts are awesome - then the Al A Carte restaurant is truly amazing! We noticed that the improvements to the hotel are continuous and well recieved. Always a very multinational mix of guests - interesting to meet so many people from around the world. If you fancy something charming full of Balinese hospitality do try this hotel. I was visibly upset when leaving Sol Benoa, I wanted to stay! Well done everyone at The Sol Benoa.

Amazing stay at Sol Benoa Bali! To begin with the check in was very efficient and profesional, they explained all benefits of all inclusive and gave us a tour of our room. Shortly after our lugagge was delivered. The room was very spacious, cleaned daily and with amazing views of the pool and gardens. We took advantadge of the daily laundry included for gold-AI, our clothes were delivered fast, fresh and folded. Regarding F&B they offer food 24/7 which is amazing for early excursions or late arrivals. We ate a la carte a couple of times and the experience was great, nice offer and good quality. The buffets change daily (asian, italian, seafood nights…) so you never repeat. It is awesome to have diner in their garden, with live music or a show going on. The service is always extremly nice and they take good care of guests. As this is a “small” resort they get to know you and know what you like. All drinks included were prepared with love and they offered a big range of cocktails. We really liked the coffee shop located in the lobby. It is a nice touch to have it included in the gold package and we felt that the quality was exceptional. We always found free sunbeds at the pool and at the beach, it was never crowded. The beach is pristine and you can rent a paddel surf for free. They have available bicycles so you can go around the area on the sea front, strong recommended as the area is stunning and safe. We would also suggest to take advantage of the smoothie/ice cream shop, they do all the juices/smoothies personalised. We joined a few activities such as bag painting, show cooking and the Balinese ceremony. We had an incredible time and enjoyed all of them. We were also surprised by the souvenir shops as both were quite cheap and the staff was very kind. 3 minutes walking from the hotel you have Pepito supermarket, if you wish to buy some local presents. Bali collection shuttle stops at the hotel a few times a day if you fancy some more shopping. The saddest part was being forced to check out ;) can’t wait to come back!

This hotel is really nice. I do my internship in Bali so I have seen all kinds of hotels. But this is the one i will always come back too. The staff is so nice and the property is well maintained. What stands out to me the most in this hotel is there 24/7 à la carte. It is such a nice touch especially for me for example if I work late shifts. Or if you have late meetings. After this you can still enjoy a proper meal. I would highly recommend this hotel and to select the “all inclusive” package since this will for sure be worth it. Can’t wait to come back in a few weeks!
