SOL by Meliá Benoa Bali

The room is clean, huge and very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Its very convenient because they have all inclusive packages also they have their own section part of beach. Location also not very far from Toll. Eventho in review they say its old hotel, but its not very old its still very comfortable and feels like home. Breakfast part its variety as well.. overall this hotel is still very good and worth.

We stayed at the Sol by Melia Benoa to celebrate our son’s 40th birthday. The location is right on the beach and has a large pool with swim up bar. Every staff interaction was extremely friendly. The pool bar staff were great with a large variety of drinks to suit everyone. Some of the areas were a little tired but overall, we could not fault our stay.

Staff and facilities

As usual very satisfied with my stay. They gave me the same room as last time and I was very happy with that. The hotel is very close to the beach. The staff created a wonderful atmosphere and catered for every need. The room was spacious and kept very clean and comfortable. Service was excellent. The Events were all very entertaining throughout my stay. I used the spa and had an excellent experience.

Stayed at the Sol Melia for 1 week on the All-inclusive board basis. Rooms are huge, very comfortable and are cleaned every day. Mini fridge was stocked every day and is included with the All-inclusive. A kettle and coffee machine are also provided in the rooms. Hotel grounds are Lovely and are well maintained, plenty of Sunbeds and shade from the trees (people reserving sunbeds wasn't an issue here) The beach is right opposite the hotel and also has plenty of beds. Bar service was excellent at both the pool and lobby bar with plenty of drinks to choose from. Food i couldn't fault plenty of choice (in my opinion) was always hot and is available 24hrs a day. All staff are amazing and are happy to help with anything you need. Entertainment especially the fire show was good to watch. The hotel does has a courtesy bus to take you to Bali collection shopping area however everytime we waited for it, it was full as it picks up at other hotels first so seemed abit pointless. Taxis are always available and are very cheap so wasn't really an issue all in all we had a great stay x

Hotel, while old looking, has superb and amazing staff. Room is cleaned every morning. The Kitchen had good fare. We truly enjoyed our stay here. Will definitely recommend to friends and family

I have been absolutely blown away by our stay at SOL by Meliá! Right from the beginning we were so warmly welcomed and every single day since! The staff here are incredible and have done everything possible to make our stay as comfortable as possible! The food has been divine! The drinks incredible! I felt so safe and looked after! We had one incident where my wife had a non epileptic seizure and we needed help to get her into the room and they helped me clean up the vomit and were so caring, they all asked the next day how she was! Im sad to be leaving here today and will absolutely come back the first chance I get! 100,000,000 GOLD STARS

This was our 7th stay at Sol (missed one year due to covid) and once again can't fault it. From the staff, location, food, rooms, all was fantastic. Let's start with reception: fast check-in, room we requested all done, arrived early but the room was made ready asap. Ayodya Bar across from reception is fabulous hats off to Natalia who manages it, always smiling always cheeky. Next Amarta Restaurant: fabulous! the food to die for, staff fantastic, we tended to eat there rather than the Kitchen special mention of Murdana and Agnoliti. The Kitchen: casual but nice dining, attentive staff, especially Kamana. Nelayan Pool Bar staff, Lopyo, Mendrin (best but lethal Margaritas), Sutarsa. And last but not least Sutiari at Menega Seaside restaurant really good lunchtime buffet. A special thank you to Ratna, Guest Experience manager who looked after us on check out and organising a car for us to our next destination. We really cannot say enough good things about Sol just love going back every year, walking up to reception and being greeted by staff saying “Welcome Home”!
