Fort William Henry Hotel

The staff at the front desk helped us check in and get our room after a mishap with booking.com. she was absolutely great in accommodating my family and I.

The cable box was very glitchy and we had to call maintenance to get it fixed

It’s was our first time there and everything was beautiful.

The pillows were too small and uncomfortable. Also the bed was a little uncomfortable for our liking.

My wife and friends go every year. We have never had a bad experience. The rooms are always clean and up to date. The staff is always eager to do what ever they can to make your stay the best experience they can. We just left but we are already looking forward to going again next year.

Room was very nice, well kept, and quiet (no outside or hall noise. We did not realize that room refrigerator was not working until next morning (after storing previously night's food on 1st night). Desk sent someone to repair but we had lost $50 worth of food. When notified of food we had to throw out, the night staff referred us to morning manager - no compensation of any kind, from anyone was offered. Room would be rated a "5", staff rated a "2".

The best View and location on the lake with great people taking care of you. However the hotel "room s" are stuck with amenities and decoration that are decades plus old. For a hotel a bit the expensive side, it needs rooms refreshing, which would make this a destination hotel.

Location was ok

This hotel is completely misleading with their listings. The property is a center hotel flanked by two glorified motels. During booking they are careful to not let you know that you are indeed booking an overpriced motel room. The room itself was ok, like a concrete box but the bathroom was nice at least. To say this is misleading is an understatement. Finally, they’ve sent me an email asking me to leave them a review EVERY SINGLE DAY since I left. Well, I wasn’t going to be if you insist I will let you know how ripped off I felt.

Parking for handicap is very limited

Very good for family vacation, good view, clean room, definitely will be back next time.
