Full Housekeeping services for guest with multiple nights are by request only and there is a fee of $35 per day for the services. Basic stay over services are not charged (towel and trash removal/replacement only). Early Check-In Policy: Early check-ins may be accommodated based on availability and are subject to a $50 fee, at the manager’s discretion. Early Departure Policy At Fort William Henry, we strive to accommodate our guests with flexible travel plans while ensuring fairness in reservations and room availability. The following policy applies to all early departures: Standard Early Departure Fee: Guests departing earlier than their original reservation end date will be charged one full night's lodging at the confirmed room rate. Departure Between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM: Guests checking out during this time frame will incur an additional charge of half a day's rate due to late check-out processing. Departure After 3:00 PM: Guests checking out after 3:00 PM will be charged a full additional night's rate as the room is no longer available for same-day resale. Guests must inform the front desk in advance of any changes to their departure date to minimize additional charges. Exceptions may be made at management’s discretion under extenuating circumstances. By checking in, guests acknowledge and agree to this policy as part of their reservation terms.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. A deposit may be required at the property.

"Bait and switch. Buyer beware. Assuming we paid for main building. Nicer rooms and safer locations."

we checked in and were not given a room in the main building instead in the street level motel section facing the parking lot. We paid $330/night. The rooms were like motel 8 type rooms. We assumed we paid for main building but were told it would cost another $100/night to stay in main building which had much nicer rooms. We also asked the maid for clean bedding on the second day which she agreed to but never changed bedding. Very disappointed with hotel stay. Would likely not return.

The Hotel is on great location view is excellent. From main building You walk everywhere. Funny smell when ac running properly hasn’t been cleaned for months Half of View is blocked from window with bricks Bathroom fan not working Toilet water is moving when next room flush window is not opening Finally I was expecting room in the main building This room was like being in one of the side street motels being in better spot totally not worth the money. I didn’t want to complain when I was there. I m not like some people who complain for everything to get better things. I don’t remember seeing anything stating that the room will be on the side. Come on four knights and I pay over $1,400 With the package If I was across the street probably will cost less. Probably I will come back but I’m going to call and make the reservation for the main building.

"Wonderful Experience!"

We have stayed here for a number of years and have never been disappointed. We stay in the Premium wing with a lake view window. The room is always clean and comfortable. The housecleaning staff is friendly and accommodating. The front desk staff are amazing! Friendly and knowledgeable. We have stayed at other Lake George hotels but never again! The Fort William Henry Hotel will always be our number one destination!

The grounds are beautiful! The rooms are top notch and the staff is amazing! We were a last minute booking after leaving another hotel early. I am so happy we changed over. We’ll be back!

"Good location and view. Could be clearer with which building the room was located"

The location and view was great but I was disappointed we were not in the main hotel but the two story one next to it. The reason we booked this hotel was because I feel safer at hotels where you pass through the lobby to get to the room. I was a little disappointed that the description wasn’t clear on booking the room
