Clarence Court Hotel

Breakfast and the breakfast team were good.

Tiny bathroom. Unwelcoming arrival. Paying for parking. Too far from the jazz festival.

Water dripping all night from the ceiling onto the bed. In the morning the room above had a shower at 6am and the water came onto my bed! through the ceiling. No receptionist or manager available at the hotel until 9am in the morning. Poor reaction to the water situation. A lacklustre reaction to the situation and a pathetic apology.

Location excellent and parking super

Adjacent car park (£5 per night) Quiet location. Good breakfast, cooked and cereal.

Limited evening menu in restaurant. Restaurant closed for 1 evening whilst we were there.

Breakfast was very good, generally staff were very pleasant. Great Location. Just a short walk to town centre

Room service seems to have gone missing. After 2 days we asked about servicing our room, we were initially told there was no room service, or that we could request it for a charge. Eventually we got a service on the 2nd day, but that was it, for a 4 night stay that just isn't good enough.

The eggs with full English where very poor! They should get a new supplier!

Nice location, leafy and green and not far from the centre. Walking distance to Montpellier Gardens.

Room quite small, creaky floors, shower and bath could have been cleaner. A little bit musty!
