"Nice hotel, but not a great nights rest"

Hotel seemed mostly empty, yet we were given a room directly over a very loud bar, with karaoke going until midnight. Impossible to sleep until the bar closed.

Beautiful room. Very quiet and comfortable. All desk clerks were very helpful from things to see and local restaurants. Highly recommended this hotel it is a museum

Wonderful hotel staff. Extremely friendly. Gorgeous hotel for its age. Fantastic history!! Restaraunt was mediocre at best. Pub and bar were much more appealing.

"Wonderful!"

I loved the old world charm of the hotel right down to the old phone booth in the lobby. The history of the hotel includes Jimmy Carter of course but also FDR making speeches from the former balcony. The staff was fantastic and the room was very clean and comfortable. A perfect place to stay.
