Centrella Hotel, a Kirkwood Collection Hotel

The Victorian style rooms were nice but very outdated.

Staff was nice until I got locked out of my room by accident. Called the after hours person and they had an attitude because they had just gotten home and had to drive an hour back, then they hung up on me not confirming when they would be here. Not sure why a hotel doesnt have staff present all night.

Lovely hotel in great location and staff. Nice breakfast and breakfast area. Parking was very limited and full by the time we got there and had to find a place on the street. We had some issues with the room, but the staff was helpful. We probably would stay again with some caveats.

This hotel has this little "charm of the old", which I find very pleasant. The Staff was very nice, and it's very well located in the heart of Pacific Grove.

The breakfast starts very late: (7:30 or 8:00, can't remember exactly). As I needed to be already out of the room by 7:30, I couldn't give it a try. Also the bed linens and the towels really need to be replaced. I don't mind when things are old, but here the bed linen not only had yellow stains on them, but also had holes. Lastly, it didn't end up being a problem for me, but I was very concerned by the noise level of the room: I got a room right next to the entrance door, and I could hear absolutely everything: people coming in/out, the conversation of people chatting on the bench in front of the window, and the cars going by. Somehow the night was very calm so I wasn't bothered, but I guess that's something to be mindful of if you're a light sleeper.

Cleanliness and Pricey

It was very pretty, close to everything.

Old house could hear everyone. No more than four parking spots first come first serve that was not how it was advertised. Breakfast included was incorrectly advertised as well. The staff told us it really isn't a breakfast but we have some stuff. Bed was super wobbly. The head board was bolted on as if it had broke once before and they just wanted to fix it.
