Park Royal Beach Huatulco

All round one of the better resorts for the value. Good food. Good drinks. Staff are amazing.

The gym was a bit dated. But honestly, this is a first world problem. Everything was awesome

We had a terrible experience mostly due to lack of communication and lack of English speaking employees.

This was our 3rd visit to Park Royal,,, previously 2017 and in 2008 when it was the Crown Pacific. We noticed big changes from our first two visits ,,, all good,,, super clean, lots of freindly staff,, lots of modern upgrades to public washrooms, (modern toilets,auto lights and wash sinks) cleaning staff everywhere working hard keeping all areas clean. Our room was on the same level as the 7th floor pool,,, 2 double beds , new toilet and shower,, huge balcony and great air conditioning. Food was good and we never had any stomach issues the whole 2 weeks of our holiday. Ate most our breakfasts at the 7th floor dining area mostly because it was so close to our room. Had our fair share of great burgers and fries at the 7th floor pool bar and then for dinner either ate at the main buffet 5 or 6 times, Italian alacart 2 or 3 times and the other half dozen dinners went to Santa Cruz or La Crucecita. As others have mentioned if you have mobility this may not be the place for you,,, even though there is shuttles to move you around there is stairs everywhere in this complex.. Having said that my wife and I are well into our 60,s and have no problem getting around as we are walkers in in good shape. The guest,s at the time of our stay was probably about 30% Canadian and 70% Mexican tourists which is fine with us,,, we found everyone quite freindly. My wife and I have been to the the Huatulco area 9 or 10 times in the last 25 years and picked the Park Royal this year mostly because of the price at the time we booked worked out cheaper then booking a separate flight and accommodations as we have done several times in the past years. Having said that we had a great holiday and would not hesitate to recommend the Park Royal to anyone thinking of visiting Huatulco. Thankyou to the management and all staff.... Job Well Done

They need to add Moore variety of food to the buffet I did like the restaurant a la carte

This is our second time and we love it so much! I did notice more young people there to drink and party this year which has been my reasoning to post this year. This resort is intimate and family friendly. Its quiet and relaxing. It’s not a party vibe, which I love! You can drink and have a great time but everyone is just there to enjoy with their families and have a good time. It’s quiet but also has fun events for the whole family to get into. The staff is also so incredible. Everyone is so friendly and helpful always. We had a romantic dinner planned on the beach and they go above and beyond for this service. The manager this year was just truly incredible and we will never forget his kindness. The chef also prepared an amazing meal for us! We will be back each year and hope for the relaxing and quiet time!

10th floor unique view. Wish there was lounge chairs on the 10th floor. Better communication. Too much shuttles.

Loved our stay, rooms were clean and spacious. Totally walkable down, a little more difficult after dinner going up to the top. Food was not the greatest, and wish dinner reservations were more accessible and more frequent. We didn’t make even one sitting in 10 days. Valentine entertainment was amazing! Really enjoyed the time away.

Breakfast was the best part of any meals.

All the steps. I use a cain and it was difficult and tiring.

Airport shuttle service would be good. Room were not stocked as a all inclusive resort
