Hilton Garden Inn Victorville

Breakfast was great but I wasi surprised you charged for breakfast. All the hotels I have ever stayed in breakfast was free.

Very nice overall

The property was closed to a small theme park, which made it convenient to stay busy during the day. The rooms were decent just a bit out of date

The elevators were extremely old shaky, and sections of the wall were peeling off. The curtains to the hotel rooms were old and had small holes where the sunlight would beam through early in the morning. Early in the morning, the entire lobby and parking lot were completely black. There was no lights on in the front desk area at the lobby or outside in the front parking lot.

I forgot this was the hotel. I had issues with last time. Checked into room 158, its window is compromised. It can be broken into too easily, especially if being in the 1st floor, very unsafe. There is some kind of alarm going off on the second floor very loud. The room phone doesn’t work, it says the number you have dialed is not in service for any of the buttons you press to call front desk, housekeeping, room service, etc. I called the front desk from my phone 3 times, someone has yet to answer. The fridge and microwave are disgusting. The hotel is going under renovations so all the carpets being dirty is expected but everything as a whole I’m disgusted by. This is not the Hilton standard. I will definitely be reporting all this to Hilton corporate. I have stayed 135 nights at Hiltons this year alone. This is the 2nd hotel that has disappointed me in more ways than 1. Tomato bisque is actually good. Can’t say the same about the garlic bread.

It was more than half way to our final destination. The lobby was nice and clean.

It was noisy and uncomfortable. The floor we stayed on was being renovated so there was a ton of debris and mess. The garbage bins for the renovation were full and no trash was tied down so it was littering everywhere.

The staff was wonderful. Top notch.

The room we got smelled, and it definitely needed some updates. Its always difficult to get a gound floor.
