Omni Mount Washington Resort & Spa

The gourds were great, pool area is great. I have nothing bad to say about the place at all....however. We had a room on the 2nd floor overlooking the front arrival area. At 7:00 AM the construction crews began working and pouring cement right outside our window. My wife and I went there to relax for a couple days, just to get away but that did not happen. I understand there are things that need to get done and construction companies will not work on your time, then don't rent out rooms that will be effected by the noise right outside their window. Even if means giving them a more expensive room. Other than that the place is really nice.

Well it was palatial in the public rooms.

I would have liked a wider bed. Dessert team were not getting right. However the starters and mains delivered.

The history and the views are spectacular. It is a very big property so a lot of places. A lot of associates, servers and property agents. Nice check in and check out. Room was close to elevator. Beautiful lobby. Beautiful veranda. Nice bed linens. Many are helpful but some are not helpful - inconsistent help available. One person told us to walk around the property from the pool to avoid steps and find an elevator, but we ended up on the golf course and it was a kind tennis buck who carted us up to the lobby.

It is too far to walk to the parking lot and outside pool unless you do valet or cart which is expensive. The people who work at Stickneys need retraining. The inside pool and inside and outside hot tubs need maintenance. Stickneys restaurant is in need of supervisory overview of their training and operational procedures. Food is good, but organization needs review and retraining. Expensive place with parking, fees etc. The room did not have enough plugs for recharging devices.

I love this place for views and history. That said my first time was just so so. Inside hot tub and pool need maintenance. Outside pool cool and hot tub not hot. Pool bar attendant gave inappropriate directions to get back to the lobby - around the back ended in the golf course and rescued by the tennis pro in a cart. I did make reservations and was sent to two different places before securing reservations for dinner. Cancelled that reservation when advised by another guest to skip it and go somewhere else fir half the cost and better service. Buffet breakfast very so so - small details - server not very available in an average morning for coffee etc. and forgot to give me my credit card back….poor coordination on the floor among servers. Room was ok for an older historic place but looked out on the air conditioning units, and had louder noise for air conditioning than average on a cool night. Pd about $500 after self parking ($20) etc. etc. etc. Anniversary celebration. Self parking is quite a walk. Valet is more $ and each time taken out is $10 more. Thought it would be better for the advertising.

Great location. The grounds are amazing. Unfortunately, the service was lacking. Many interns who did not provide the level of service I have come to expect from an Omni hotel. As a select member for many years, I have always been afforded a room upgrade on arrival. I paid $250 per night per room for an upgrade and still did not receive a level of service I would expect

An iconic hotel steeped in history. Well worth a visit should you be staying in the area. Staff are friendly and courteous and the hotel has some amazing faculties so so very much recommend

Could have been cleaner in public areas. More attention to detail.

I had a wonderful day and honestly can’t put into words how enjoyable and relaxing the experience was. The hotel is absolutely beautiful. The outdoor pool and hot tub have a stunning view, and the indoor heated pool was so comfortable and perfect to enjoy as well. Every staff member we interacted with was polite, attentive, and welcoming. We had lunch at Stickneys and the food was delicious — fresh, flavorful, and with a great wine selection. A special thank you to Sangeeta, our waitress, who truly made our day even better. She was incredibly kind, quick, attentive, and genuinely friendly. Her exceptional service was the perfect way to end such an amazing day.
