Royal Laguna Villas By Magical Memories

We liked the place a lot when we first got there. Then a smoke detector started chirping because the battery was dead. Called main office about 5-5:15and was told they would send someone out. Assumed that meant the same day. Two hours pass, and no one had come. My husband calls and got major run around. We needed up having to call the fire dept to let them know the issue, and how poorly it was being dealt with. It did not get fixed until the next morning. THEN, the beds had not been washed. Found MANY hairs in them. SO DISGUSTING! Needless to say, we didn’t sleep in the beds. Staying somewhere and having to wash bedding because the cleaning people didn’t wash them, NOT COOL. I will not ever stay here again, especially since we had to prepay a cleaning fee of like $110. I have contacted the property about refunding some of that cleaning fee, haven’t heard anything yet. I do not recommend this property.

Rented house with Pool but it didn’t work. Management didn’t fix it until night before checkout.

The original property which we were given was in an extremely poor condition. I rang up and asked to be relocated, the lady was very abrupt, however we were moved into a much better property which is what we had initially expected. My overall experience was not very good to begin with, but it turned out well in the end. I must say that the original property which we were given is not in anyway shape or form fitting or worthy to be used as the furniture and condition of the property is appalling. I dread the thought of someone else being given that property as a holiday let.

I liked where the property was and the neighborhood it was in. I liked that there was a washer and dryer. I didn't like that there was no coffee or laundry soap in the unit. I also would have liked for there to be extra towels to use for the pool. Other than that the house had lots of space, great AC, TV's in every room and lots of hot water so we all could shower at the same time in the different bathrooms.

Bugs every where cable barely worked and the house was dirty when we got there on top Of that they made us wait to check in at 4 and the house still wasn’t clean

The property shown in the Expedia website is not a true reflection of the property that you stay in. We are familiar with Magical Memories and what you show on your website is false advertisement. Magical Memories staff advises they have asked Expedia to show the correct property.

We had a great vacation. The house was close to everything and very clean and comfortable.

The resort should not be called a resort, condos with a very small pool. The Villa was quite worn but clean and great 3 bedroom size. The bed sizes are “not guaranteed” per the front desk as what we booked was not what received. The front desk did offer to move us but we had already unpacked and we dealt with it. Beds were comfortable even though not a queen thankfully my Husband and I can fit on a double bed comfortably. My son and daughter-in-law were OK sleeping Separately on twin beds. My advice would be to double or triple check any bedding size that you must have. We would stay there again

Cons: Water filter needed to be changed. The hot tub needed to be cleaned. The bathroom door down stairs would not close all the way. Pros: If you have family/friends to split the cost a night then I recommend this. It was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen and living room were nice. I love how they supply the dishes and etc in the kitchen. Everything else was clean. I would book again.

Nice neighborhood, felt safe and close to attractions. Property was a little run down, needs some TLC
