Extended Stay America Suites - Hampton - Coliseum

Reception Desk Ladies Were Very Polite and Courteous, well Mind To Tell Us Everything before Entering The Rooms. Overall It Was Some What Great, had some issues but we had Unpacked and Just Stayed and Managed Without. And I Allean King Did Call to let the front Desk Know about It.

That the Tube had old Water in the tub from not going Down. Seem like the Housekeeper would Realize it when they cleaned it, so we just ran the Shower and cleaned it out, cause like I said we had already unpacked when we found the problems out. The stove only one burner worked, and the lamp over by the Window was Completely out. Bulbs didn't work. Everything should have been properly working and Better Cleaned and Sanitized Better for the Money We Paid For to stay for Two Nights. And I thought that the Housekeepers would have asked when they were cleaning the rooms to Still enter the Rooms to see if we needed trash bags or Towels. And there were No Cups or Napkins, plates or Utensils available there, til we pulled out our own. Thank You

I never got checked in at this property. The clerk was too busy to wait on me. Lobby wasn't clean and had a bad odor. I waited for over 30 minutes while she was on the phone and walking off to do other things. Also the police were called for some reason by some guest not sure the reason. The guest that were in front of me were told that their room had been given to someone else. I think thays why she never waited on me, hoping that I would just leave. It was 10pm and I had driven nearly 6 hrs so while waiting I booked a room online at a nearby hotel. When I got there I was checked in in less than 2 minutes.

this was a good property for its price. i got the room last minute but it was decent. it was clean and the staff was very friendly. i found a baby spider in the bathroom on my last day there but there were no bugs or anything otherwise

The hotel was cozy and everything was clean, I loved my room. The staff was very helpful and polite and they made my stay even better. I like the location and I will be booking there again soon ¹

The fact I couldn't extend my stay with my spouse card on file unless I rebooked online with a reservation since that's how I booked the 1st time was an issue. My spouse left for work with the card early that morning, that's the reason I needed to extend without the card. Staff told me rebook online only and after I did that I still needed the physical card to extend. It was an inconvenience cause I had to checkout due to the fact I couldn't pay.

Visting family in Hampton /Newport News. I was looking for a decent hotel to stay and affordable. After researching different hotel on the same street and checking the rooms, I was pleased with Extended Stay America, Sallie and Amber, the front desk agent was pleasant, easy to talk to and down to earth. The only downfall is that the handicap room should have a walk-in shower for the disabled patrons that not able to step in the tub. The room was clean. I'm a satisfied customer and will return.

The front desk staff was wonderful. Very warm greeting on arrival and worked with me on extending a stay without having to relocate rooms as work went a little longer than planned. Sallie at the front desk was extremely nice. Room was good for me as well. AC was nice and cool and which I appreciate as I work out in the heat. I work in the Hampton area frequently and would stay here again. Very fair pricing and a clean room.

Staff was very friendly. Regular police patrolling the area. Could use a little minor maintenance (chain lock on my door was broken). Water to entire facility was shut off one morning without warning for approx. 90 minutes starting about 9 am - would have been really annoying if I was in the shower.
