The Reef Coco Beach Resort & Spa- Optional All Inclusive

Me and my family went there for a vacation in august and it was amazing! Everyone was super welcoming and family friendly! Since my dads birthday was coming up, Kenneth and Boris threw him a little “birthday party”, much thanks to them from hungary! I loved the activities, Kenneth was especially good in hosting them. Overall it was amazing, definitely one of the best vacations of my life, thanks to the workers and the amazing people over there, and of course Playa del Carmen itself too!

We celebrated a family birthday at the Reef Coco Beach. We all felt as if the hotel staff focused on enforcing different dress code rules at the buffet. The hottub was not hot it wasn’t even warm. Multiple guests complained and the front desk staff seemed to push off their complaints. Overall we wouldn’t have enjoyed our time here if it weren’t for Boris who is the DJ and runs a lot of the pool entertainment. Geraldo the bartender is an absolute gem! Both of these two wonderful men made the whole trip amazing. I would recommend you visit the beach bar and ask Geraldo for a Scooby doo shot you won’t regret it!

The location is great! This part of the beach is very nice, there are grocery stores nearby and the Main Street is 5’ by foot. The hotel is very nice overall, although it could be a bit more modern. Our room was spacious, clean and with a nice view of the pool area. We also had a massage at the hotel spa, which was really nice. The staff by the pool, the breakfast buffet and reception is super friendly. I would visit again

For vegans the options at breakfast are limited in comparison to the size of the whole buffet. That was a bit disappointing considering that Playa del Carmen is a paradise for vegans. Another negative experience were the sales people at the hotel. I understand that they want to sell vacation packages and that is ok, but they were too aggressive and confusing in my opinion.

A bunch of my buddies and I had a great week here. The rooms were very clean, and the service was professional. We had a fantastic stay; the whole place was amazing. From the food to the bars and activities, there was always something to do—especially for first-timers in Mexico like us. Everyone was very friendly, helpful, and full of energy, especially the animation team: Kenneth, Kenia, Erandi, Iván, and the rest (unfortunately, I can’t remember all their names). We only wish we stayed another week!

Vores første værelse lå lige over baren ved receptionen. Der var utrolig meget støj, og med 2 små børn fungerede det ikke. Vi kunne heldigvis rykke værelse efter 2 nætter. Deres ismaskine fungerede ikke på den sidste del af ferien - igen, med 2 børn var det ikke ideelt. Der blev ikke fundet en løsning.
