Impiana Beachfront Resort Patong, Phuket

We have been several times (10 or 12, I don’t remember) in this wonderful hotel and every time is better than the last one. Every time our stay here is a unique and unforgettable experience! The staff is very kind and helpful. They are always ready to accommodate any request that we have. From the reception, pool and restaurant staff, everybody is smiling and is so welcoming. The food and the service are awesome! This is a paradise on earth! It is in front of the beach and very close to all the shops and restaurants. Everything was perfect after staying at the Impiana Resort! The location was ideal, right on the beach yet right next to Bangla Rd and all the shops. The staff was Awesome especially Gerald, Nan, security, and the kitchen staff. The hotel food was good with a nice selection of American and Asian food. Also close to plenty of night life. I would definitely stay there again. Thank you to all the staff at the Impiana Resort...

We stayed here for one night in a Superior Garden-View room. The room was spacious and clean—we didn’t encounter any cleanliness issues like some other guests have reported, and we really appreciate that. This resort is very close to Patong Beach, making it easy to access. You can truly relax and enjoy your time on the beach. We have two suggestions for the resort: 1. The actual room looks better than the official pictures, which appear too woody and dark. It would be great to update the website with new, brighter photos that reflect the real experience. 2. The younger reception staff behind the desk should improve their attitude. They shouldn’t continue using their phones when guests approach the desk, or think that simply saying “Sawadika” is enough before returning to their own activities. This kind of attitude comes across as impolite to guests.

A resort composed of one-story bungalow type buildings with a pool. Very good location.

This is an older Classic Thai style hotel, we loved it. If you want mirrors, marble and glass…perhaps not for you. But if you want : - the best (I mean best) position right on the beach - beautiful meals (particularly the Thai and Italian cuisines) - a lovely pool with lounges that overlook the beach, - awesome service ………then this is for you. I have to make a special mention about the service. Gerard and his ALL his wonderful team, provided friendly, attentive amazing service, which made this awesome stay even better. I would single out one staff member out, but can’t, as they were all amazing We have been coming to Thailand for approx 15 years and wish we had discovered the Impiana sooner. Thank you Gerard and team. Can’t wait for our next visit.

I wasn't staying at the Impiana resort Patong, but I did book their cooking class. I cannot speak highly enough of the welcome and ambiance my wife and I received. We first met with Yot who was very welcoming and confirmed our itinerary for the class. He supplied us with the apron and chef hat and later supplied us with a certificate for us showing completion of the cooking class and a menu of different Thai recipes. We met with Deen (chef) at hotel who discussed all ingredients and how we should cook the 3 course meal (Larb Gai) spicy chicken salad, Tom Yum Goong (yom Yum soup with Shrimp), Gaeng Kiew Wan Nuea (Green curry with beef) We then ate the food we cooked and it was amazing and finished of with an excellent dessert. fantastic people. We also met up with the General Manager of the restaurant who was from Malaysia and was very hospitable and discussed Thai food and how he visited Scotland (where I am from) a lovely man. I would recommend this class wholeheartedly. Really excellent few hours. Loved it. John

The hotel is next to a nightclub that 8s open air blasting noise. Ear plugs and dleepit aod needed

It’s not a 5 star hotel, it’s too old and without maintenance. 2 days didn’t come to make the room. No chairs at the beach. The only good it’s the location and that it’s on the beach.. but was terrible

We had booked this beach side hotel because of it being so close to the beach. The very friendly and service oriented staff and the location exactly next to the beach is the only thing that is worth recommending. When we arrived (April 20th, 2025) we quickly learned that only a few months before a beach club (Barra Cuda) had opened next door. The noise was on from 12 to 12. Furthermore we got a room just next to the busy street and nigh life, so it was almost noisy 24/7. We could enjoy the quite nice break fast buffet and view if the ocean from 7 to noon. Besides that the rooms are quite old and worn down like the furniture in the reception needs a change. The tiles in the pool are to a large extent loose and we are not sure that the pool was checked every day (at least we had to ask them to update the sign showing the date it was last done). Food and drinks are OK, but we will not be coming back despite the quite reasonable price for the rooms. We spoke to other couples who had been there 3-4 times before and they said this was their last time. So sorry for Impiana Resort and their friendly staff…
