Impiana Beachfront Resort Patong, Phuket

We left after only staying one night even tough we were supposed to stay for 5 nights. The rooms were infested with mosquitoes and the bar next door plays super loud music from 2pm which makes sleeping impossible even with earplugs. I have been to thailand 4 times during the ”rainy season” and I have never seen this many mosquitoes in a single room in my life. This is also the third hotel on this trip but the first with such a huge bug infestion. We were given a bug spray that did kill the ones in the room, but more kept coming during the night so it wasn’t a huge help. Reception said that the mosquitoes are in the rooms because on the style of the hotel being ”resort” so basically bungalows close to the ground. I do not believe this to be the real reason since I have stayed in similar hotels countless times and never had this issue. Mosquitoes aside the room was super dark and somewhat dirty. There was hair and dust everywhere and walking in the room left our feet covered in grime. The rooms are also more humid than outside and the floors are very wet. The reseption was nice and helpful as they did listen and gave us a new room which too was dirty and riddeled with mosquitoes. Still they were kind. Also the hotel area is pretty in the daytime but that is about all the good this hotel has to offer. The breakfast was okay, not very well organized but okay.

We stayed at the Impiana Patong in March 2025. The resort is one of the very few hotels right on the beach and what a lovely stretch of the beach it is. The hotel itself is lovely and the pool area is kept well. Always plenty of sunbeds available but the condition of the sunbeds and mattress were poor. The rooms are large and the Aircon is superb. Fridge is clean and cold. We foumd two cockroaches and one little lizard in our room which wasn't so nice but it is Thailand. We had a Seaview room but there is a hedge in front of the terrace so you have to stand to see the sea. This is the case with all Seaview rooms. Not worth the extra fee in my opinion. Breakfast is excellent and serves western and Thai food. Quality superb and great hostesses. Always well stocked. Now, here's the kicker. Not the fault of the hotel but they have built a large beach club nright next door to the hotel (Bara Cuda) They start pumping out the music at around 2pm and it can be heard all through Impiana resort. What's worse is that around 6 pm, the beach club cranks up the volume so that not only is it loud in the hotel rooms, but the vibration from the bass notes goes through you. This goes on until 2am. ( Our son works in construction and gave us some industrial ear plugs before we went. They didn't block the sound and vibrations atall) It's a shame really because the hotel is lovely right on the beach but the music is just too much everyday.

Property was awesome. Location was unbeatable view. Amazing breakfast! Had the best curries we ever had in Thailand. Even better than the Michelin star restaurant..... Only one negative was a guy was smoking weed at the pool and security said nothing should have a designated area

The Impiana is one of the only three resorts located directly on the beach in Patong. The rooms are furnished in typical Thai design and offer a comfortable bed with quality linen, towels changed daily, a courtesy kit and a small private patio. The shared ocean view areas offers a beautiful swimming pool with sunbeds sunshades and a bar with table and pool service. The Sala Bua restaurant, where breakfast is served is of excellent quality. The staff is really friendly, always smiling and always available to solve any problems in all areas of the resort. The atmosphere is very nice and relaxing. We will definitely be back.

Impiana Patong was our regular resorts to put up whenever we visits Phuket. The Staff & Management were attentive to their guest with delicated care. The entire resorts were so well maintain whenever we visited the resort like we just retun ti the place a week later. It appear just like it posted on it website. Special thanks to their GM Mr Gerard much efforts he & his team put in to make our trip so wonderful and a memorable. We sincerely thank them for such an excellent service. We have no doubts to be back to the resort when we are back in Phuket.

Customer service was great front desk was great.. Kae is a manager of the front desk she’s professional in every way.. the hotel is great but they have rooms that the noise is unbearable… I didn’t realize that Phuket has so much traffic as it does now so if you’re gonna go visit anywhere in Phuket, the traffic has changed in so many ways..

Older beach resort that needs some TLC…shower dripping, room door not able to open, etc. Needs to improve in room coffee service. Excellent staff that did their best to make everything right incl providing a shower mat that took a couple of days to show up.
