Morgantown Marriott at Waterfront Place

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Marriott Morgantown hotel. There are not many larger/full-service hotels in the area and it was a pleasure to have the Marriott exceed my expectations. The staff, in particular the front desk that i encountered were all attentive, helpful and friendly. I received an upgrade to a king suite for my week long stay which i enjoyed very much to have some extra space. The rooms were fresh and spotless and must have been remodeled of recent. Some nice views of the nearby Mon-River as well. The concierge lounge was great - ample grab and go offerings, fruit, snacks, hot breakfast options, coffee/tea and stocked drinks. The night-time offerings were good as well with a variety changing per day. Staff was also friendly and responsive to any request. Will definitely stay again while traveling in the area.

Spacious and clean rooms, but a long walk from the parking garage.

Beautiful hotel with professional, accommodating staff. Walking distance to several WVU buildings and enjoyed walking the rail trail along the river right next to the hotel. The meeting rooms were very well maintained and nicely equipped. Parking was easy. Great bar and restaurant as well.

Fantastic stay

A full service hotel with good beds, quiet, and NOT the noisy window unit HVAc systems. Friendly staff and easy parking

We stayed in this hotel for one night while traveling. Hotel and rooms were clean and pleasant, staff was friendly and efficient, and location along the river, with several restaurants within walking distance, was great.

I had the worst customer service experience I have ever had in my 25+ years of traveling for business. I travel often to West Virginia and I will never stay at this location again. I urge you to book elsewhere and give your business to a hotel management that will look at you as a person and not a policy.

Extremely poor customer service. To them you are a price tag not a person. Stay elsewhere where your needs will be met with humanity.
