Wonderful location

Location and bar lounge with fire places

Food excessive cost

I've seen plenty of complaints about this hotel and it's true that it's pricey for what you get. But if you want to stay in the park in reasonable comfort, it's a better option than the $500-plus Ahwahnee or tent camping at Curry. Our room was a little worn down but everything worked and we had a pleasant view of trees and mountains. Plus, the Mountain View Room food was quite good; whoever invented the Beast burger is a genius.

Location of this lodge is its main and most important feature. When you open the door of your room and the first thing that you see is the Yosemite Falls... well, you kinda forget about how old and not exceptionally sterile the lodge is... But still... I was there in January and it was quite cold and frosty outside, but the heating was working very well and the water was very hot in the shower as well.

I would clean the room couple of times before refurbishing it...:)

Location absolutely fabulous, right on Yosemite valley and easy access to hiking routes and main visitor information and restaurants Cozy vibes Staff was fantastic

Very clean, staff where extremely helpful and the location was a perfect base for our trip.
