Yosemite Valley Lodge

Location is amazing! And I didn’t mind the rustic style, fits the setting

The heaters are so outdated, it’s embarrassing how much they charge per night considering this apparently cannot be fixed. They make a ticking sound that makes it impossible to sleep, first time we experience this…

The location!

Staff at the front desk were not very warm and welcoming. Decor is a bit dated but in keeping with the surroundings.

We stayed four nights in the Yosemite Valley Lodge in late January. Our room was in the Alder building and had a king bed. Our room was very spacious and had a lovely view. Its very quiet, which we loved. The location is the main reason you stay here and it is fantastic. There are several eateries at the lodge, including a Starbucks. Lower Yosemite Falls Trail is right across the street and there is easy access to the walkway into the valley. We loved staying here and would absolutely return.

Rooms are very old and out dated. Workers there seem like they only do the minimum. Not very friendly.

It is inside the park. This is great and close to everything (by car or walking or getting the bus) . It is close to Yosemite falls.

The roons divide wall ,so we can hear the roon by our side (that is not cool) . We had a child crying in one side and young girls to the other side. Bad luck

The location was great, you could hear Yosemite Falls when you stepped out the door. The room was a nice size that included a table and chairs. It was easy to walk to the shuttle stops, lodge, store and restaurant

The light over the table was very dim, the room needed some updating. The exhaust fan in the bathroom would preiodically die and restart.
