Salthouse Harbour Hotel and Spa

Fantastic hotel. Brilliant location. Cannot fault it at all. I contacted the hotel prior to visiting with my requirements and was very happy to see that they had taken note of this and was very attentive. From the minute I arrived to the minute I left, nothing was too much trouble. I had room 210 overlooking the Marina with the balcony doors. I suffer from claustrophobia and this room was perfect. Very light, spacious and airy with balcony doors plus full window panels either side. A really comfortable nights sleep, the bed was comfy and the pillows I just fell into. I am deaf and the hotel provided a pillow shaker alarm in the event of a fire. They went above and beyond. Oh and they make an excellent Mojito! Thank you so much to Charlotte and Sophie and to the guys who parked my car for me in the reserved disabled parking bay. I will definitely stay at this hotel again next time I am in Suffolk visiting family.

Had a gorgeous weekend away! This hotel is bursting with charm—quirky, stylish, and full of character. The locally sourced menu was just as impressive, offering food that was both creative and delicious. The view from our balcony was absolutely stunning—such a joy to wake up to in the morning and a perfect spot to unwind in the evening with a drink in hand. We took full advantage of both the room service and the restaurant, and every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavour. There’s a small car park, but the free valet service made everything super convenient and stress-free. I don’t usually leave hotel reviews, but this one truly deserved it. Highly recommend for a unique and relaxing escape!

It is a lovely hotel with a lovely setting.

We don't think you got value for money for what you pay compared to other hotels we have stayed at. Also for what you pay as a hotel guest you don't get priority on our second evening we were unable to have a drink in the lounge due to the fact that the general public are allowed to just come in and wait for tables to be come available or just sit there having a drink. If you're going to allow this to happen then you need a larger seating area. We also found that for us the dining room wasn't very relaxing to sit and just enjoy your meal.

Brilliant location in historic building decorated in a quirky style. Good amenities close by.

The room had not been cleaned thoroughly ie spilt coffee stains down the wall and skirting board, dusty desk chair and stains on carpet.
