Everything was perfect

Absolutely dreadful service when having afternoon tea. Only saw waitress once. Had to go to the bar to pay. It ruined a much looked forward to event. I have repeatedly tried to contact them with no response.

As my visit was planned to coincide with my working in the Record Office in connection with a forthcoming book, the location was both very convenient and very attractive. The staff were very helpful as my bank a/c had just been hacked and my bank card wasn't working.

I have to say the decor is rather odd ... eclectic and no apparent theme!

Very stylish boutique hotel on the waterfront. The team working there are friendly and professional.

A great spacious building by an under-rated harbour. Once a traditional industrial active port. The setting reflected this.

No air-con in the rooms and no shower guard.

We stayed here for four nights on a Ogdens Coach tour to Suffolk. On arrival, well , what a pleasantly situated hotel. Its on the Marina with delightful views of the yacht and boating. Check in was quick and efficient and we were soon in our delightful room 112. Unfortunately our room didn't get a marina view but was a nicely furnished room with all the usual amenities. However, there was no drawers to put underwear socks etc in. Very nice bathroom and walk in shower with good selection of toiletries provided. Both the breakfast and evening meals were excellent, maybe served slow, but freshly cooked. The staff were marvellous pleasant and attendance at all times. We have no hesitation in recommending a stay at this charming hotel.
