Sandals Halcyon - ALL INCLUSIVE Couples Only

The resort is amazing, the staff are very good, and the view is lovely. This is an excellent all-inclusive package. One quick thing to keep in mind, if you arrive during Carnival (a St. Lucian holiday), it can get very loud in the daytime.

Our stay was overal great. Great people and food and the vibe was so relaxing. Had a very bad experience with the check in we’re the lady told us 5 times that our room will be ready in 30 minutes. Eventually it was ready in a couple of hours. Our shower was also broken and maintenance needed to fix it 3 times before it worked properly. Other then that the staff at the property, food and the atmosphere in the resort were amazing.

It was extremely quiet and peaceful. The food was good and all staff was extremely polite. The entire island was beautiful and all of the locals were so nice.

We got married and wedding planner was awesome once we got there. Before hand was confusing and communication was difficult. Staff was wonderful room was clean and quiet beach venders where pushy and bothersome. Excursion were not worth money or time especially shopping spree. Maintenance was an issue in some of the wedding guests rooms.

We were very disappointed. Expected Sandals to be same or better than other 5 star resorts we have stayed at. Our rooms were not ready upon arrival. Sandals provides the airport shuttle so they know exactly when we are arriving. If rooms not clean maybe provide changing room so we can go relax at pool instead of eating a 4:30 lunch to waste time. Daily housekeeping didn't have rooms cleaned timely. We left at 7:30am with clean room sign on and room still not done until after 4. Had to nap on lounge chairs after our excursion and wait to use room to shower before dinner. Cleaning was good when eventually done but missing supplies and towels. More staff needed to pick up glasses and plates by the pool. Dirty plates left on tables between lounge chairs. I brought neighbors dirty plates to bar after 3 hours Sandals should clarify that not all rooms have room service. We booked online and didn't see that needed club service just to get coffee from room service. When I called to ask about the resort customer service did not want to talk with me because I didn't directly book with them. I booked the resort and talked two other couples into joining us. I just wanted to talk with someone at Sandals to see what I could or should do for our group birthday celebration vacation. Not having been to other all inclusive resorts the other couples had a great time. Thanks Jyan at Kellys, chef at breakfast buffet (sorry didn't get name) and Dolores at breakfast.

It was absolutely amazing! The property was beautiful, very well kept and Staff was polite and so helpful. We would absolutely return. 👍

Place was absolutely amazing. The property was a true tropical paradise. Highly recommend for couples.

The resort, staff and location was wonderful! The guests there, when we were there, were older, but the entertainment was wonderful.

3 star experience at 5 star prices. Disappointing is the word of the trip. Instead of relaxing, you are forced to compete for limited resources: limited hours for food, limited food on plate, limited buffet to only 1 per day at breakfast, limited beach chairs, limited shuttle bus (every 2 hours and not enough seats so you have to pay a cab US$25 between properties), limited entertainment. It is very clear that the resort was cutting corners to save money at the guests' expense. The people who work there are hard working and friendly, but the amenities advertised do not match what you get when you arrive. Many things are canceled or re-named to save money. Local vendors on the beach property harass constantly to book offside tours. It is not relaxing to be forced to compete for limited resources especially when advertised as a 5 star relaxing carefree vacation experience and especially when the resort knows exactly how many guests are there every day. We have stayed at many other all-inclusive properties and NEVER felt like the resort was short-changing us at every opportunity. For example, they do not restock the room refrigerator (not even water), they do not restock the shampoo and conditioners (and some were half full), they do not restock the expensive "brand" drinks (like Johnny Walker Black) in the bars. They make it your problem to have to hunt around the property to find what you pre-paid for at a premium price. And, the only swimmable beach is at Sandals Grande.
