I didn't eat the breakfast

The hotel was in a great location on the main road, with lots of parking. The staff was friendly, both at the front desk and the cleaning crew.

The walls were too thin, and the first two nights I was disturbed by neighbors - first the guy on one side who seemed to be calling India for a marathon call until after midnight, and the next night the people on the other side (right on the other side of the wall from where I laid my head to sleep) stayed up until 2 or 3 in the morning having a family gathering. It almost sounded like they were in the room with me. Luckily I travel with ear plugs these days, but the construction of the walls was super cheap and there was no effort to build them with any soundproofing, thicker sheetrock or insulation. The price for this motel was substantial enough where I thought it would be better. This is where the value fell below what I expected based on what I paid. If I ever stay in Zephyrhills again, I suppose I will cough up a little more cash to stay at a quieter place. The breakfast was just carbs (cereal, bread, waffles, fruit). Other than getting coffee, I just gave up and went to McDonald's each morning. Maybe not the healthiest but at least there's some fat and protein in there. Lastly they would get rid of the coffee when breakfast ended. Maybe I've gotten used to other hotels having coffee available all day (a nice touch). Along with the cheap carb breakfast, taking away the coffee at the earliest opportunity overall gave the impression they were running the place too cheaply.
