Harrah's Resort Southern California - A Caesars Rewards Destination

I have a very serious complaint that I want addressed for our stay at Harrah’s Southern California 9/9/25-9/11/25. My wife and I were there to celebrate our anniversary and the arrival of our twin daughters in a couple of months. While enjoying the pool on Wednesday 9/10/25 around 2:30pm, I left the resort to go and pick up our son. Realizing I accidentally took the room key, I called the resort to arrange for my wife to have access to the room so that she could rest while I was gone (it was extremely hot outside), and more importantly, check her blood sugar levels as she has gestational diabetes, and is being closely monitored by her doctors. It’s extremely important that she is aware if her blood sugar levels drop too low or are too high at any given time. Unfortunately, she left the monitor in the room. I called the front desk and explained it was an emergency situation and she had an injection she needed to administer, but was locked out of the room. I offered to provide any and all information affiliated with our reservation, even calling from the same telephone number that was used to book the room. The front desk female associate I spoke to said it was impossible to make an exception and let me in the room. I admittedly became agitated, but remained respectful, because of the seriousness of the situation. I was then passed on to another female associate who told me the same thing. After they would not budge in providing my wife a key, I suggested someone escort her up to the room, just to get her monitor, but the staff wouldn’t do it. This is absolutely unacceptable and in emergency situations, there should be standard protocols for medical exceptions to be made. My wife was left outside in the hot sun, where all shaded seating areas were occupied, with no access to the room, no access to her glucose monitor, and extremely uncomfortable and overheating in her third trimester with a twin pregnancy. This was an extremely dangerous situation she was forced to be in, which could have easily lead to devastating repercussions. I am reaching out to corporate in hopes the situation will be addressed and made right to the best of your ability.

Showers take a very long time to warm up. Not only in our room but our other families room as well.

Hotel is great

We spent the day at the pool our service was amazing. Alma checked us in our room and she is one of the reasons we had such a great experience.

The lobby was very crowded and had heavy smoke smell. The room did not have hand soap, or the customary lotion; not sure if this was an oversight, it just not provided. It's was also most late at night; after midnight. The walls seem thin.

It was just a really comfortable spot we went for my nephew's 21st birthday enjoyed the swimming pool watch football and enjoy the time at the casino
