We stayed at the Hyatt Regency Grand Reserve for a majority of our weeklong vacation in Puerto Rico. The resort offered a relaxing, quiet stay with beautiful beach, diverse restaurants and amenities that satisfied us completely. We did not have a rental car, so we decided to remain on the property the entire time, but there were locations within 20-30 minutes if you wanted to venture out as an alternative. The entire staff at the resort were friendly and very attentive to our every need. During our stay, I experienced pain/swelling in my foot. I shared this with the front desk staff and they immediately contacted Security for assistance. The Security manager, Luis Rivera, was very helpful in assessing my situation and offered to have one of his staff members take us to Urgent Care (about 20 minutes from resort) and have that staff member stay with us during that 6 hour period. The staff member, Alejandro Resto, was wonderful and helped assist with Urgent Care check-in, language translation with medical staff and while we waited for my results, offered to take us to a place for lunch. I felt completely taken care of by the Hyatt Security team and applaud them for their extraordinary support during that time. Overall, I would highly recommend this resort and when I return to Puerto Rico, they will be at the top of my list!
