Chelsea Inn Hotel

This is clearly a drug / prostitute infested establishment. The person at the front desk even told us we didn’t wanna stay there. We felt unsafe from the minute we walked in the door and were only in the establish room for approximately five minutes when we had an Uber pick us back up. This needs to be taken off Expedia’s site permanently. We chose to sit in the airport all night as opposed to staying at this hotel. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL.

We didn’t check in due to the condition of the property

Vagrants hanging around front entrance. Drug use and alcohol apparent loud and stumbling crowd. Window open with clothes hanging out. Sketchy neighborhood didnt feel comfortable getting out of car.

Felt unsafe, prostitutes, homeless people. Expedia needs to take down this booking immediately.

This was the worst hotel room I have ever stayed in. There was one sheet, a cigarette burned “blanket” and I slept in my clothes to not touch anything in bed. The key machine broke so the guy had to let me in and out. No toilet paper, plunger in the shower. Holy crack house!! Never again…

I wouldn’t stay here again. I’ve lived in the developing world and this rivals for one of the worst stays. Junkies, pros, no toilet paper, disgusting shower, loud noises all night. Seriously, consider somewhere else.

The place was disgusting. The guy behind the counter copied the numbers off of my debit card and rang up 4 separate charges before I could close the card. Do yourself a favor and stay anywhere but there.

Should be an option for no stars. I had a reservation for June 7th to the 10th 2024 and was asked to leave on June 9th. On the 8th somebody had obviously been in my room cause the latch on the inside of the room was latched so that I couldn't get in my room and they had to cut it with bolt cutters to get access to the room. Thank goodness nothing of value was in the room. Place is very unclean and looks like a homeless shelter or brothel. Don't even try sleeping cause it's arguing and loud music all night

Rooms were dirty, felt a bit unsafe in that building, bed and blanket was not clean, weird smell in room. Overall doesn't look like as in the photos. I would suggest expedia to remove this property from their listing

People in small groups hanging around, and the owner who appeared not too sober also had to ask the pot users to leave, as they did in seeing new comers wanted to live right. Fragrance was sprayed, to little avail. Thank God the only gas station in town was open night long so we eventually had our earliest coffee in a long time. More reviews like this may shake the owners into cleaning up for Anchorage's prolonged troubles.
