Staff was great - very friendly and accommodating. First floor is being completely renovated so there is no restaurant and lobby area. During the day, there is construction noise although they inform you about this upon arrival.

This property is under severe reconstruction. Stay away until work is completed.

We have stayed here before but this time they were under construction/renovation--something not shared when we booked. We were told 8-5 construction but on the first night, they were directly overhead drilling at 6pm. It was unlivable. They should have never put us in a room directly below that. It woke me up the next morning and continued for 2 days of our 5 day stay. The other 3 days without overhead construction were fine. I would seriously consider not staying here again, even though it was very convenient to our family.

I booked this to take my mother for an eye surgery. My sister said this at check-in. We needed a room for her to stay post surgery and before her doctor visit the next day. They put us in a room right next to construction going on without telling them. On Friday, I begged hotels.com to help. The attendant tried, but she had no luck. Then I tried with the front desk, and had no luck either. The front desk woman said there was nothing she could do. We couldn’t move my mom due to her surgery. Construction was terrible during 2:00-5:00 PM. Upon checkout, I told another person at the hotel that we were never supposed to have that room. She said they put medical procedure patients in other rooms. She apologized. If I had seen the construction notification, I would have never chosen this property for my mom to stay at for rest. She lives 3 hours away and had to stay overnight in Houston. I picked a location that was close to her surgery center and had good reviews, As a Bonvoy member, I always limit my picks to Marriott properties. I’m rethinking this strategy going forward. It was an overall terrible experience with the exception of the woman who checked us out.

I stayed here for couple of nights for business. This is about 45 mins from IAH(Bush airport). There is some construction going on near the lobby but doesn’t really impact you since the whole area is covered. This is your standard courtyard Marriott with all usual amenities. Very friendly staff at the front desk. There is a bistro as well that serves breakfast, snacks and Starbucks. Room was very comfortable. Few minor things that missed the mark though. First many channels in the TV weren’t working due to bad connection. Second, there was no body lotion in the room at least not in the bathroom. And there was no water bottle in the room though the front desk person asked me to just take one from the market when I checked in. I guess it may not be standard amenity at this property. Otherwise everything else was great. Even with those minor issues, I would stay again.

Construction was very noisy. Very limited food available because the kitchen wasn’t working. Staff was very nice, pleasant and helpful.

Charged for parking you do not get daily room service coffee maker did not work
