Eurostars Gran Valencia Hotel

Very stylish hotel in an "okay" location with LOVELY rooftop terrace. We came here for a weekend football trip and found this hotel convinent. We had to get Ubers if we wanted to go to the beach or to the main city centre or Aquarium though, as this hotel was not in the clos vicinity of these areas but we didn't mind that. Overall, we had a grest experience and the rooftop terrace and pool was a HUGE plus!

Staff are very friendly and it was close to quite a few restaurants. The room is clean and comfortable. I would stay there again.

We stayed here several days during the Christmas and New Year Holidays and we found it quite disappointing how understaffed the hotel seemed to be. The hotel was not very full at all and the services were very stripped back during this entire period. No breakfast available on New Year’s Day, no breakfast on 3 Kings day, nothing organized or available in the hotel for New Year’s Eve…several days we had to ask for our room to be made up, and many of those, we didn’t have housekeeping until early evening. It was almost like being the only one in your college dorm when everyone else has gone home for the holidays! Anyway, I get that it’s important for employees to get to spend time with their families but it’s still a hotel and so I think if the hotel is open, there is some obligation to maintain a level of guest services for people staying there. The bed is pretty comfy, the room is spacious. No ability to change the thermostat from heating to cooling so thankfully the window opened. A kettle or Coffee machine in the room would be a welcome amenity. The business centre was closed during the entire time we were there - I think 12 days in all. The wifi in the room was pretty lousy (lots of buffering) and it is a complete pain in the….ahem because you have to log back in EVERY SINGLE TIME you end a session! Name, room number, email, accept the terms and conditions on a tiny finicky little form which often didn’t work and then finally get to log in. Very bare bones experience.

Hotel staff terrible, rude…. Hotel location maybe makes sense for those going to work, but for tourists is too far from main points of interest ( -30/40 min walking). Breakfast the worst i ever had during my trip through spain. This hotel doesn’t worth the price, definitely will never be back again.

The room was nice and clean. Breakfast was great with lots of variety. I do wish the pool stayed open longer (it closed at 8pm each day).

Wonderfully friendly staff. Very nice amenities; pool, gym, sauna and breakfast. Only gripe was the hard spring mattress.

Wifi doesnt reach the room, needed to do some work but have to do it sitting next to the room door. Staff didnt do anything to fix it

The room was lovely, comfy bed, nice clean bathroom. However for the amount of money they charge per night, i expect tea/coffee/kettle facilities to be available in the rooms. The receptionist said they don't do that. Rooftop swimming pool is a nice touch but it is shallow and very small so bare that in mind. No hairdryers in gym changing room, no hairdryers in hotel rooms (so pack your own). No irons either, have to pay for ironing. Hotel is a bit far (at least 30mins bus/tram) from hotspots/beach but close enough to decent public transport so bare that in mind. Overall I think it's too pricey to not have thee pretty basic touches.
