Extended Stay America Suites - Lynchburg - University Blvd

We have stayed here 2 other times and this time seemed much improved!!

We had a great welcome from the young lady that was at the front desk and no problems checking in. We were sent to our room and the room was dark all curtains closed and no air on. It was stuffy and hot. The first thing was the bathroom light was all messed up and the light very dim, so dim that you could not see the toilet and had to leave the door open to use the bathroom. My husband went to the front desk and the young lady apologized and offered to move us across the hall. We packed up and moved and the room was better but not much. Since the room had a kitchen we decided would be a great since our two like to have food that is hot, so we got the dish tote and of course then stove burners would not heat up. They really need to clean that stove and get it fixed. The microwave worked, but we had no plug to keep water in the sink to wash the dishes we would use. That evening I went to the bathroom to give our 6 year old a bath and there was no plug for the tub and the tub looked dirty with chips in it. The exhaust fan was very loud as well. The beds had to be full size and not very comfortable . We had requested queen size not full. Fortunately we made it work for the two nights we reserved, but know when we return to this area, we will not book at this hotel again. Really needs to be updated and cleaned up and maybe that would help. Plus make sure the lights , stove etc work so your clients can utilize those so not have to eat out all meals. Thank you

Shelly and her staff always makes me feel like family. I have stayed here for several years now while attending Extraordinary Women's Conference at TRBC. It is easy to get to as it is just off the interstate. Room is always clean and if I needed anything they were quick to respond.

Dirty, hair on towels, no hair dryer, no water even at reception.

Quiet.

I work nights in the hospital and the rooms here were very sound proofed! I never heard anything outside of our hotel room! The rooms were comfortable and very clean! I will definitely stay here again and will highly recommend it to others!

The room had damage, the microwave and stove didn't work. When talking to the manager, she was rude and acted like she didn't want to be there. She was either hiding from guest or smoking in the car.
