Extended Stay America Suites - Lynchburg - University Blvd

Shelly and her staff were amazing and very accommodating. The facility itself is old and outdated. Sets on premium real estate, right on the LU Campus, but the building as a whole needs to be renovated.

I stayed at Extended Stay America for two weeks and had such a great experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and having a kitchen made it easy to settle in and feel at home. The staff was amazing—Shelly and Elise went out of their way to make sure I was taken care of. They were so kind that they even shared fresh mangos with me one day, which really shows how welcoming they are. The whole place felt safe and quiet, which made the stay even better. If you need a spot for more than just a quick trip, I’d definitely recommend this hotel. It’s comfortable, friendly, and I’d gladly stay here again

I stayed at Extended Stay America while moving my son into Liberty University, and the experience was wonderful. Shelly and Elise were so friendly, helpful, and welcoming—they truly made my stay stress-free. The hotel was clean and comfortable. I’ve noticed some bad reviews online, but from what I saw, those seem to come from guests upset about policies like providing IDs. The staff are just doing their job, and they do it very well. I’ll definitely be back

Dirty everything!!! Sheets,towels washcloth all looked dirty

Location is close to Liberty (but so are most of the hotels).

Almost 80 degrees in room when arrived, dirty beat up countertops and cabinets, broken toilet in bathroom, breakfast had no food, and Noone at the front desk most of the time. Price is the same as other much nicer hotels nearby, won't be back.

Just don’t. That’s right, don’t even ‘think’ about it. Really. Unless you like a smelly room (think 100 sweaty sports bags in steaming hot temperatures), or enjoy wondering if they gave you clean sheets, or if you love thread-bare towels and no soap, then this is the place for you! If you love being recorded every time you enter or leave the hotel and have your ID saved (securely ???) to their database, then this is the place for you! No shears on the window looking directly into the parking lot meant the drapes were closed the duration of our stay. Lots more to say, none of it good.

Location

The place was not friendly. They acted like people were trying to steal things. All we wanted was fresh towels and they tried to make us come back and then also go upstairs and get the old towels, it was towels for goodness sake. Then when we went up to get the towels as they asked us to do, they had already gone up and we’re in our room without our permission that did not sit well with me because they asked us to go get them. That’s what we were doing in the meanwhile they must’ve taken a service elevator or something and were in our room..
