The courtyard for drinks or a delicious breakfast is superb. The hotel has recently been refurbished and is very comfortable. The staff are also very helpful. The hotel’s location is also excellent.

Overall the hotel was nice, quiet and in a great location of Granada. The room was fairly comfortable except for the pealing wallpaper and the stables they used to keep it in place. Definitely not worth the $500 plus euros a night we paid. Also I recommend skipping the breakfast as it was the worse I have ever had at an AC hotel. Poor selection of food cold watery eggs and bacon and very poor service.

While the property has a lot of potential, there were several aspects of my stay that were disappointing. The suite I stayed in, while spacious, was uncomfortable. The noise level from both the hallway and street made it difficult to sleep. I found the bed a bit too firm for my liking, and while the pillow was good, I couldn’t get restful sleep. There was street noise all night from motorcycles and cars right outside the windows, which disrupted any sense of atmosphere or tranquility inside. The duvet in the suite was too warm, and without the option to open the windows due to the outside noise, the temperature felt stifling. The breakfast offered the basics, but the quality left much to be desired. The breakfast attendant was rude—when I arrived, the area was still being set up 20 minutes after the supposed opening time of 07:00. When I peeked through the curtain to see if I could get a look inside, the attendant walked over and aggressively closed the curtain tighter. There was a noticeable contrast in how the attendant treated a Spanish couple, giving them all smiles, while I received a frosty reception. Not a great start to the day. The lobby’s decor was a strange letdown for such a lovely building. The cheap-looking wood wallpaper on the ceiling felt out of place and tacky. On a positive note, I really enjoyed the courtyard—it was a peaceful spot. The check-in process was seamless, and the staff were very accommodating. I would have rated the hotel higher if there was a way to balance temperature control with noise. Overall, while the hotel has so much potential with its historic charm and beautiful building, the issues with noise, uncomfortable sleeping conditions, and lackluster service in certain areas made my stay less enjoyable. It’s a shame because with some improvements in these areas, this could be a fantastic place to stay.

The hotel common areas are nice and the courtyard is very picturesque. The location is also very good. However, checkin took over 20 minutes due to computer issues and our room left a lot to be desired: unusable seating area which resulted in a small sleeping area, no windows, unusable bathroom mirror with wood beam running through the center and an attached hair dryer with a cord that was too short to reach the mirror. When we asked change rooms during our two night stay we were told that was not possible since the hotel was fully booked. Our impression was that the hotel was no where near capacity. Despite issues with check in and our room, the hotel staff was very helpful with restaurant and site seeing suggestions.

Absolutely beautiful hotel in a great location, mere minutes to walk to many historical locations, restaurants and shops. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and had an opportunity to walk around the premises....wow what a beautiful hotel' The location of the hotel was also perfect. It was merely a few minute walk to a number of fantastic restaurants, tapas bar and shops. Breakfast was very good. The hotel bar was a beautiful place to have a drink. If we have another opportunity to visit beautiful Granada, we wouldnt hesitate to stay at this hotel. What a gem.

Excellent hotel by any measure. Could not be a more perfect location. 20 minute walk to Alhambra or 15 minute walk to or the Alhambra view point. Squeaky clean. Helpful and friendly staff. Totally charming. Totally quiet. No complaints whatsoever. We would return in a heartbeat.

The photos on line look WAY better that then the reality. The hotel spaces and room decor are OK but cheap and not as cozy and unique as the site photos would have you believe. We were disappointed.
