Boutique Hotel Seegarten

I had all I needed in a lovely location along the Lake. Shortish walk along the Lake to Bahnhofstrasse for good shopping and very near the art museum which was excellent.

Very comfortable, clean and well located boutique hotel. Only con is that the walls are a little thin so you can hear your neighbours but that would not prevent me from returning.

Seegarten offers small immaculate rooms steps away from Lake Zurich and the Opera House. The staff can help travelers with local transportation and advice. The breakfast is fantastic. Prosecco on weekends :)

BED WAS BEST IN EUROPE for this level hotel. Stayed in September so the no AC was ok but i like air movement and having windows open was troublesome for bugs and street noise. Front desk staff was AMAZING. Given that it is Switzerland and highly expensive I would say it was a fabulous place to stay.

This hotel is a great choice and location if you enjoy and do not mind walking along the waterfront to get to the city centre and old town. Alternatively the tram is a block away. The ladies at the Reception Desk are exceptionally helpful and pleasant. The restaurant food and service was excellent and although it may seem a little pricy, in fact it was reasonable for Switzerland. The bathrooms are a little small but I did have a good size bath and the sink very small but workable. The room itself very spacious. The building is an older one and so you may hear the floor boards here or there with people moving above however I can honestly say it did not keep me awake. There is easy access to and from the airport via the train station close by at a cost of 6.00CHF one way which you can purchase from the Reception Desk.

Loved this hotel for our weekend stay in Zurich. The staff were all just great. Very helpful and lovely. The hotel was clean and tidy and very comfortable. We were offered an upgrade which we refused as our original booking matched our needs. The bed was comfortable and the room suited us. The only thing that amused us was that the bathroom/loo was a little compact so if we were staying for longer we might have gone for the upgrade and a larger bathroom. But whatever, we loved it and I would heartily recommend it to anyone who wants a clean, tidy, comfortable hotel with lovely helpful staff. And it didn't cost us an arm and a leg!

Stayed one night - very small room but perfect for single traveller. Hotel staff very helpful. Close to city center and the lake plus main shopping area. Would stay again.

Excellent location - fine breakfast - Excellent dinner restaurant! Room & bed was comfortable - however room was rather small! Parking not available!
