Decameron Aquarium - All Inclusive

The place is not as nice as it seems. The front staff members are not very friendly and helpful and the Decameron app doesn’t work well which makes it difficult to access to all of the amenities that they promise you. The staff at the restaurants and the cleaning staff are amazing they were friendly and left everything looking spotless

Came here 10 years ago , it was my #1 resort to go . February 2025 , I’m back again right now and telling you , the resort is a piece of crap. Don’t think about going in the sea , they won’t allow you to go, lifeguard should get fired , absolutely no access and really don’t care about travellers , freaking bad attitude , locals don’t have any respect , food is very lame . Alcool taste like ethanol . And the room , so much to say about it , lights don’t work, steady water temperature, you can dream about it . Ac dripping right on toilet , humidity in room will make all you clothes smell like a damp dog , mold everywhere, nothing against the cleaner he does the best he can but resort is falling apart everywhere. Watch your steps , holes are part of the decors . I can go on and on but I think my point is made , this is a 2 star resort . Don’t bother coming to san Andre’s , there’s way more to see elsewhere . 30+ trip traveller

I do not recommend the Cameron Aquarium hotel at all, despite its claim of being all-inclusive with food and beverages. The drink service is of very poor quality. The “disco bar” is actually just a couple of people serving drinks from coolers with ice, without even having a proper refrigerator. The drinks taste terrible. Regarding room service, out of six days, we only had hot water for two. As for dining in the hotel’s supposedly good restaurants, you have to log into an app at 8 a.m. to make a reservation, which takes away time from enjoying breakfast. Reservations run out within ten minutes, so we were only able to dine there once. The internet is terrible; it disconnects every minute, requiring you to log back in constantly with a password, which is very frustrating. If you are looking for a place to relax and unwind, this is not the place. For the same price, you can find a luxurious hotel with excellent service. Additionally, San Andrés offers plenty of activities, and staying in a resort that doesn’t even deliver on its promises feels like a waste. I do not recommend this hotel.

You should see their disco, it was awful, food is not good, not coming back there

The hotel is good have plenty of activities to do but the check in is slow and it's not very clear when can you collect your key. The hotel is in a very good location and the drinks are pretty good the buffet breakfast needs more improvement with salty option like sandwich mini burgers etc no just eggs

Worst hotel in San Andres. I really recommend you look into the smaller hotels in the island. This is a loud hotel, bad food, terrible customers, just don't stay here. Si van a San Andrés quédense en hoteles más pequeños, esta cadena de decameron es toodoo mal, bullosos, cero cultura, pésima comida y todo por un precio alto.

We were a little disappointed on the overall condition of the hotel. It really needs maintenance and deep cleaning. Staff were nice and ready to help when needed.

El servicio al cliente es inexistente, los telefono en las habitaciones no sirven. Tuvimos problemas incluso para obtener un rollo de papel higiénico.
