Days Inn by Wyndham Ottawa West

No breakfast included, no pool, noisy, seems to have people living there. People smoking at the entrance of the hotel, room wallpaper was peeling off

The hotel has decided to house families, presumably through Government funding. Subsequently, the corridors and car park are overrun with kids and there is a constsnt smell of cooking food. There is no breakfast, no room cleaning during my stay, no coffee in the room, no cups plastic or otherwise.... I have no problem with the residents but the owners shouldn't sell rooms as though they're a full service hotel. The first night I was rudely awoken by banging, screaming, cursing and a fight outside my door. The one saving grace was the front desk staff who were above and beyond helpful and friendly.

So bad that we couldn't stay, it was prepaid so no refund was given. Also they charged an additional $50 damage deposit that they wouldn't refund. Terrible spot and service!

Beds and room were clean enough, and comfortable. Bathroom wasn’t the cleanest but passable. I believe this site is used as temporary refugee housing so it was noisy, and people were cooking in the rooms so it was definitely an unorthodox hotel stay. There was a significant domestic disturbance in the middle of the night from some of the temporarily housed individuals which highlighted the need for potential additional security.

Not satisfied that there was no disclosure that the Hotel was being used for Refugee housing!!! I should have my money refunded. Not a place I would’ve chosen to stay…..this was taken outside our room door

Its nice and clean, suitable for a decent stay over. Fridge, coffee making appliances along with different teas and coffee were available on site.

No cups or glasses in the room. Out of control brats screaming in the halls. Ignored at checkout, no acknowledging i was there, even though there was no one else there.

Less convenient, less amenities but friendly staff

We had an enjoyable stay.

Smells in room not good.
