Location. Surroundings and grounds. Good restaurant.

Unable to get a drink in the bar before dinner due to lack of staff.

The location is good as it is close to the A26. It has a big park which was good for walking the dog. Breakfast was ok. We asked for boiled eggs and they came completely raw. You would expect them to know how to boil an egg as they have an a la carte restaurant!

There seemed to be very few staff. The bar didn’t open until 8.00 in the evening which for a hotel with 4 stars seemed odd. The internet only worked periodically. The hotel also charged €20 for the dog. I understand they need to charge and €10 is the norm but they don’t provide bowl or bed or any facilities and 20 seems excessive.

Location close to Le Shuttle. Excellent restaurant (Distillery).

Rooms need an update.

It was cold and window was opening as the latch is broken in room 10 and broken heater was given, room 106 toilet light was sensitive and in 104 there was hair in bed on the top sheet and not enough staff spoke English on the 22nd Oct but everyone spoke on the 23rd October

Architcual Nice

Old fashioned rooms. Dirty, horrible mouldy showers and moth ball smells

We’ve stayed many times. It is a beautiful place and the bar and Distillerie restaurant are lovely.

It’s all lovely. Would be nice to have some complimentary water, etc in the room.

Lovely buildings and gardens, spacious room, great bath. Liked the convenient restaurants. Good parking. Great breakfast.

Ran out of beer ! Big wedding venue so can be noisy into night.
