Good location, an easy walk to beach and Rumfire Restaurant next door. They have privileges at the athletic club access the street, which has a great cafe and Little Fish Coffee, which is amazing!
USbuilding 20 is in the center of the complex so parking was not great-especially loading and unloading due to the distance from the unit to parking. The unit was very nice but could use more lighting. great beach on location, perfect for swimming but snorkeling not great. nice complex and lovely grounds. most disappointing was the pool was across a busy road and not close at all. No laundry in the unit-not close as well. so we took our dirty laundry to our next destination. no time or interest in waiting hours to do laundry while on vacation!!!! we liked Prince Kuhio much more.
This was our third time staying there. It’s clean alright but it’s very old and needs renovation. We stayed there for our honeymoon thirty one years ago and today everything was the same but way older. There were so many mosquitoes in the bathroom that I couldn’t put my foot down without stepping on a whole bunch of them. Next time I go to Kauai, I will stay somewhere else.
Pro: property is beautiful. Our unit was a couple min walk to beach and shopping village. Unit was mid. It was just my wife and I but if you are looking for upgraded and modern this is not it. Staff was very nice and helpful. There is a limited amount of anything on the property but easy walk to beach , restaurants, and shopping No real cons for us

USWe went for our anniversary. Stayed at building 35. The distance to the beach is good. The restaurants and pool are across the street, not far for some buildings. It was difficult to get towels, you have to pick it up because the front desk refused to send towels. Housekeepers are rude and have no customer service skills. the rooms have NO AIR Conditioning, We needed air conditioning, the fans were not enough. That said we were very impressed with the condition of the room and supplies. All the kitchen essentials, and I was very impressed there was everything you needed for the beach in the closet. Chairs and beach towels were available at the beach hut.
It has much deferred maintenance. Refrigerator floods so it is unusable, there is a wiring problem in the bathroom and one of the shower glass doors is missing. Also there was hair on the bathroom floor.
Nice beach, close by restaurants and shopping
Staff very friendly,helpful. Cable TV seems to be a challenge- had maintenance come to reset twice...This happened on Maui as well two years ago.
